The curtains have officially closed on Sister Act: A Divine Musical Comedy at Graha Bhakti Budaya, Taman Ismail Marzuki. Over two nights, more than 2,000 audience members gathered to enjoy a production that seamlessly blended music, storytelling, and theatrical performance.
Brought to the stage by Censtacom, the musical showcased a well-executed artistic vision and a professional approach. With Moneva as Deloris Van Cartier, Dante Kidd as Eddie, and Ria Mandik as Mother, the show delivered a mix of comedy, drama, and uplifting gospel music.
The Wishnu Dewanta Orchestra enriched the performance with arrangements crafted specifically for the production’s unique style. Meanwhile, the set design, costumes, and lighting played a crucial role in shaping the overall experience.
The audience response was overwhelmingly positive, with praise for the production quality, vocal performances, and stage design that supported the storytelling.
As Sister Act wraps up, Censtacom remains dedicated to developing Indonesia’s theater scene by bringing more musical productions to the stage. The focus continues to be on delivering high-quality performances and expanding access to the performing arts. Looking ahead, Censtacom will keep providing a platform for artists to grow and contribute to musical theater.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who was part of this journey—from the cast and crew to the audience who showed their support. See you at the next production!
