Opening Ceremony Indonesia Sustainable Procurement Expo 2023

The National Electronic Catalog Association, which collaborates with AKEN, is again holding the 2023 Indonesia Sustainable Procurement Expo (ISPE) Wednesday, 15 -16 March 2023 in Hall A JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta. This procurement exhibition is the second time held by AKEN in collaboration with Keren Indonesia as the event organizer. This year's ISPE was opened with a ceremonial series, and was held in conjunction with the 7th anniversary celebration of IFPI (Indonesian Procurement Functional Association), accompanied by seminars, panel discussions, and the AKEN national work meeting which became a means for procurement actors to be able to synergize with each other to address challenges procurement of goods and services in 2023.

The Opening Ceremony succeeded in presenting important figures in the procurement of goods and services such as Dr. Hendrar Prihadi, S.E., M.M. as Head of LKPP, Dr. Roni Dwi Susanto as the IFPI Advisory Board, Mr. Indra Patrianto as the Head of BPPBJ DKI representing Mr. Ishak Saing as the Main Expert Staff Office of the President of the PJ Governor of DKI Jakarta, Mr. Tri Wahyu Widodo, S.Sos, MM as the General Chair of IFPI, Mr. Muhamad Ishak as Head of the AKEN Advisory Board, and Mr. Ir Soegiharto Santoso as General Chair of Aptiknas and also one of the AKEN Advisory Council.

In the remarks given by Dr. Hendrar Prihadi, S.E., M.M, as the Head of LKPP, congratulated AKEN and IFPI for success and hoped that this collaboration between procurement stakeholders could continue to be improved and sustainable in the future. The Head of LKPP also hopes that this can become an arena for friendly gatherings that can make the procurement of goods and services successful. Not only that, he also explained the 5 directives of Mr. President Joko Widodo on the procurement of goods and services namely
1. Increasing the use of domestic products (PDN) 2. Increasing the portion of micro, small and cooperative enterprises
3. Ensuring PBJ transparency
4. Strive for efficiency in Government Expenditures
5. Accelerating the absorption of the government budget

The achievement of last year's procurement of government goods and services became a benchmark and at the same time motivation for increasing targets in 2023 and also as host the Chairman of AKEN also conveyed the enthusiasm of procurement stakeholders to achieve the target of 500 trillion transactions in E-Catalog.

This event was officially opened by counting the count down and pressing the siren which was carried out by the Head of LKPP and the Chairman of AKEN and accompanied by other VIP guests. Apart from that, there was also the cutting of rice cones to celebrate the 7th anniversary of IFPI and the launching of KTA Digital and IFPI members' websites by the general chairman of IFPI, Mr. Tri Wahyu Widodo. Even this ceremonial series was followed up with a booth tour by the Head of LKPP and a group of VIP guests who became a meeting place between potential users and providers.
