Create a Memorable Stay Experience for Lebaran Holidays, InJourney Hospitality Offers Top Services for Travelers

PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (InJourney Hospitality), a subsidiary of the state-owned aviation and tourism company PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney, is ready to provide excellent service to ensure the comfort and safety of travelers during the 2025 Idul Fitri holiday.

Idul Fitri is a highly anticipated celebration in Indonesia, especially for the tradition of mudik (homecoming) and family gatherings. The 2025 Lebaran holiday is expected to see a large increase in both domestic travelers and tourists. More than 10.8 million people are expected to travel by air through the 37 airports managed by InJourney Airports from March 21 to April 11, 2025.

To ensure smooth travel during the Lebaran holiday, InJourney has made various preparations in airports, flight services, and tourist destinations. The 37 airports managed by InJourney will operate 24 hours a day (except for I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali Airport, which will close during Nyepi on March 29, 2024). Additionally, nearly 17,000 extra staff will be deployed to ensure passenger safety and security.

InJourney Group is also working with partners to manage the influx of tourists and has planned various events and programs to make the homecoming journey and Lebaran holiday more memorable.

InJourney’s Marketing Group Head, Retna Murti, said, “We are collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure smooth travel for both tourists and homebound travelers, from airports and flight services to tourist destinations.”

Retna added that the Lebaran holiday is a critical period for the aviation and tourism sectors, as it represents the peak of air travel and high mobility. This time is important for economic growth in Indonesia. "The aviation and tourism sector is a key driver of Indonesia’s economic growth, and this Lebaran period is crucial for the industry as it can significantly contribute to revenue and growth,” said Retna.

Anticipating Tourist Surge

InJourney, a hotel operator managing 38 properties, including 37 hotels and 1 educational institution, as well as owning 13 hotel portfolios, has developed various strategies to ensure all hotel units are prepared for the anticipated surge of tourists during the 2025 Eid holiday season. Through the "Kembali Fitri Sepenuh Hati" program, InJourney Hospitality aims to offer guests a memorable and meaningful holiday experience.

The company has made several preparations for the expected peak of tourist arrivals during Idul Fitri 2025, which is predicted to happen on the second day of Lebaran, April 1, 2025. In comparison, during the same period in 2024, InJourney properties had an occupancy rate of 77.9% with 3,623 rooms sold. During the two-day Idul Fitri 2025 celebration, all hotel clusters are expected to see higher occupancy rates. Bali is expected to have the highest at 81.2%, followed by Java at 76.7%, Sumatra at 75.4%, and Kalimantan at 71.4%.

Hotel occupancy across InJourney’s hotels is expected to rise, with the highest occupancy at The Meru Sanur, followed by other properties like Merusaka Nusa Dua, Truntum Kuta, Inna Sindhu Beach Bali, and The Manohara Yogyakarta.

To welcome the influx of tourists, InJourney Hospitality is offering special packages like Hari Raya stay deals, Halal Bi Halal Buffets, Lebaran gift packages, and exclusive promotions on digital platforms and online travel agents.

This is expected to lead to a 34% increase in Food & Beverage revenue during the 2025 Lebaran holiday compared to the previous year, driven by higher consumption, effective marketing strategies, and the expected rise in the number of guests.

Commitment to Service and Memorable Stays

InJourney Hospitality President Director, Christine Hutabarat, said that InJourney Hospitality has anticipated the spike in occupancy rates by ensuring that the quality of service and customer experience is maintained across all managed properties.

"InJourney Hospitality is committed to offering the best service with the warmth of Indonesian hospitality at every touchpoint. We continue to improve our operations, facilities, and staff competencies to ensure our guests' comfort during the 2025 Idul Fitri period," said Christine.

The customer journey is vital in creating a memorable experience that encourages loyalty and contributes positively to the growth of the tourism sector.
