Osteria Gia’s Executive Chef, Tommaso Gonfiantini and Capella Ubud’s Executive Chef, Nicola Russo are Joining Forces for Ti Amo, Toscana!

ISMAYA Group presents a spectacular two days of chef collaboration, showcasing the art of handcrafted Italian culinary masterpieces with Ti Amo Toscana, Italian Culinary Venture by Osteria Gia. Osteria Gia’s Executive Chef, Tommaso Gonfiantini will be hand in hand with Capella Ubud’s Executive Chef, Nicola Russo, on 29-30 November 2022 only at Osteria Gia PIM 2. With Chef Nicola Russo’s wealth of experience working in internationally acclaimed Michelin starred restaurants and luxury hotels across the world and Chef Tommaso’s that has served exceptional Italian delicacy with a mind of creativity for his patrons, each dinner course has been carefully selected to elevate the culinary experience and tantalize the palate.

Ti Amo, Toscana!

This season's collaboration, Osteria Gia will highlight culinary maestros and is known for his achievements in getting the Michelin Star rating during his first Chef de Cuisine role, Chef Nicola Russo. Originally from Pisa, Italy, Nicola Russo’s culinary career is inspired by his love and respect for the art of cooking, fresh ingredients, and nature. At 33, he moved to Hong Kong for his first Chef de Cuisine role in Tosca fine dining restaurant and received a One Michelin Star Rating in 2018 and 2019. Since 2020, Chef Russo oversees operations at Capella Ubud’s flagship dining destinations, Api Jiwa and Mads Lange. Joining Nicola Russo in the kitchen is our beloved chef Tommaso Gonfiantini, Executive Chef of Osteria Gia. The two notable chefs are so excited to collaborate and present irresistible special menus starting from Baccala Black Cod and Ceci Al Rosmarino (Japanese black cod, crispy cecina chickpeas and fragrant rosemary), Hokkaido Sea Urchin Risotto Cacciuccato (arborio rice, bisque, lemons and aglio e olio sea urchin tartare), Pici Alla Senese with Iberico (homemade spaghetti, pork shank, and sausage ragu, pecorino di pienza, and black winter truffle) and Limoncello Tiramisu (lemon mascarpone custard, ladies fingers limoncello syrup, and flambe Tuscan merengue).
