COS Debuts In Indonesia, Opening First Store In Jakarta
London-based fashion brand COS debuts its first store in Indonesia, opening in the country’s capital, Jakarta. Designed in-house by the brand’s interior specialists, the space brings together contemporary design and quiet elegance, continuing COS’ exploration of craftsmanship and materiality.
Occupying 501m2, the store launches with COS’ Spring Summer 2026 collection. The exterior facade is finished in clay lime plaster, while inside, a neutral colour palette creates a subtle backdrop that frames the latest ready-to-wear and accessories.
Grounded by terrazzo flooring and hand-tufted wool rugs by Kasthall, the collection is displayed on sleek aluminium rails and vitrines featuring recycled shelving by Smile Plastics. Tables by PAPER FACTOR – crafted in Italy using natural pigments extracted from the earth – introduce warmth and tactility to the space.

Carefully selected furniture highlights the brand’s appreciation for timeless craftmanship. Celebrating the creativity of local artisans, the store features the majestic Raja Chair by Indonesian brand, A Toko, handmade from teak and rattan. Hand-upholstered pouffes and sofas by NORR11 introduce a relaxed, playful ease, contrasted by the Cubism Coffee Table, which embraces the raw beauty and imperfections of natural stone. Lounge design elements include a chair by Goons - designed in Paris and crafted from birch - that balances contemporary design with precision, achieving an inviting feel to match the environment.
In the fitting room, Bon Bon wall lights by Helle Mardahl illuminate the area with candy-shaped silhouettes that add a subtle touch of character.
The COS store in Jakarta, Indonesia will open with the Spring Summer womenswear and menswear collections on 17th April. This opening marks an important milestone in the brand’s continued expansion in the APAC region, following recent store launches in China and Japan, and a market entry into India last year.
