INACRAFT 2026 OFFICIALLY OPENS, CELEBRATING WOMENPRENEURS IN CRAFT

 

INACRAFT 2026 was officially opened by the Minister of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Teuku Riefky Harsya, accompanied by the Wife of the Vice President and Chairwoman of the National Crafts Council (DEKRANAS), Mrs. Selvi Gibran Rakabuming Raka; the Minister of Female Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia, Mrs. Arifatul Choiri Fauzi; the Minister of Cooperatives of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Ferry Joko Juliantono; Chairwoman of Seruni Kabinet Merah Putih, Mrs. Tri Tito Karnavian; Founder and Honorary Board Member of ASEPHI, Mr. Abdul Latief; as well as the Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Handicraft Exporters and Producers Association (BPP ASEPHI), Mr. Muchsin Ridjan.

 

 

 

The ceremonial was marked by a symbolic simultaneous pounding of traditional mortars (lesung) during the opening ceremony held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Plenary Hall, JICC. The celebration was held festively with a contemporary traditional dance performance titled “Rona Puspita Nusantara” and a Fashion Craft Show featuring collaborative works by Indonesian women artisans from several brands, including Eka Madjid, Anantari, and Hesandra Indonesia. Following the opening ceremony, Mrs. Selvi Gibran Rakabuming Raka conducted an exhibition tour with Seruni (Solidarity of Women for Indonesia) Kabinet Merah Putih, which was later followed by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

 

 

 

 

In its 26th edition, INACRAFT is held under the theme “Exploring and Celebrating Womenpreneurs in Craft,” highlighting the creativity of Indonesian women as the driving force behind the nation’s craft heritage. ASEPHI invites the public to specially appreciate the role of Indonesian women in driving the creative economy while preserving national cultural heritage. To enhance shopping comfort and visitor convenience, ASEPHI curated exhibitors through product zoning based on categories such as household & housewares, gift & decorative items, footwears, bags, travel goods, toys & games, batik, woven, songket, jewelry & accessories, leather, fashion, muslim fashion, as well as multi-products from Ministries, State- Owned Enterprises (BUMN), and Government Agencies. Additionally, the Nusantara culinary area, Talam INACRAFT, is located at the Mezzanine area and Hall B, offering a wide selection of traditional Indonesian food and beverages for visitors to enjoy.

 

 

 

 

Beyond showcasing attractive and high-quality products, INACRAFT also presents various supporting programs (insight programs) held at the Plenary Hall. On the first day, activities include an Art Performance by the Regional Liaison Agency of South Kalimantan Province, a Craft Workshop on 3D Flower Brooch making, and Craft Talks with Mrs. Anne Avantie & KOWANI (Indonesian Women’s Congress) discussing “Ulos Empowered and Creating Post-Disaster.”. On the second day, February 5, 2026, INACRAFT hosts a Go Green Workshop themed “Mystical Indigo: Birukan Karyamu” with Shibiru, an artisan who has participated in INACRAFT multiple times. This day also features Craft Talks with SheTrades titled “Where Culture Meets Commerce: Woman Leaders Shaping the Future of Craft SMEs into Global Opportunity,” a Fashion Craft Show Collaboration, and Craft Talks with Abdi Waluyo Hospital as one of our Medical and Health Partner.

 

 

 

 

On February 6, 2026, activities include a Craft Workshop with Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra, Craft Talks with Bank Mandiri, and the INACRAFT Appreciation Night, which honors Indonesian artisans and entrepreneurs who have exemplified excellence and innovation through their works. The awards are given to outstanding products selected through a rigorous evaluation process by professional judges in accordance with World Craft Council standards. Special for this year, two new awards are introduced: the INACRAFT Womenpreneurs Award, dedicated to appreciating women artisans participating in INACRAFT, and the INACRAFT Digital Excellence Award for participants who utilize digital technology innovatively and impactfully in their businesses.

 

 

 

On the fourth day, visitors will gain new insights from Craft Talks Sharing Sessions with winners of the INACRAFT Award, INACRAFT Womenpreneurs Award, and INACRAFT Digital Excellence Award. On that day also includes the INACRAFT Outfit of the Day Fashion Craft Show, Content Creation and Personal Branding Workshops by Tokopedia & TikTok Shop, and concludes with a music performance by Blue Music Entertainment. On the final day, February 8, 2026, the excitement continues with a Craft Workshop titled “Bloom From Waste” Handmade Tulip Bag Charm by Allana Indonesia. Wardah will also host a talkshow and demonstration on “Personal Color Analysis.” Toward the end of the event, the exhibition will be enlivened by an Art Performance from Rumah Sahabat Inklusi, a Music Performance by Blue Music Entertainment, and closed with a doorprize drawing featuring prizes such as 1 unit Vespa and an iPhone 17.

 

 

 

This year, INACRAFT is participated in by a total of 1.013 booths. Individual participants for 788 booths, while Ministries, State-Owned Enterprises, and Government Agencies occupy 208 booths, and international participants contribute 10 booths. There are also 21 island booths filled by various Ministries, State-Owned Enterprises, Government Agencies, and INACRAFT partners. Additionally, the Talam (Nusantara Culinary) area features 56 participants. INACRAFT targets retail transactions of IDR 102,5 billion, with trade contracts expected to reach USD 1,5 million. This year, INACRAFT aims to attract 100.000 visitors, including 1.000 international buyers from Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Timor-Leste, USA, India, Australia, France, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, and Morocco.

 

 

 

INACRAFT 2026 is supported by various partners, including Pertamina, Tokopedia & TikTok Shop as sponsors. This year, INACRAFT once again collaborates with Bank Mandiri as the Main Sponsor. INACRAFT is open to the public from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with an entrance ticket priced at IDR 35.000. Visitors may purchase tickets through pre-registration on the official INACRAFT website or directly at the ticket box located at the exhibition venue.
