In celebration of Earth Day, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya has launched a series of environmental initiatives as part of its Earth Week 2025 campaign, reinforcing its commitment to Hilton's global sustainability program, Travel with Purpose.
Strategically located in South Tangerang, the hotel offers 184 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites, providing guests with modern accommodations and unparalleled service. Its prime location offers direct access to Bintaro Xchange Mall 2, BXSea Oceanarium, and BX Rink ice skating arena, making it an ideal destination for both business and leisure travelers.
As part of the Earth Week activities, hotel team members collaborated with the Bintaro Development Authority to clean the adjacent Ciputat River, successfully removing 35 kilograms of waste, including plastics and household debris. Additionally, the hotel's engineering team installed a custom-designed river barrier to prevent future waste accumulation and mitigate flood risks.

"Through our Earth Week initiatives and the Travel with Purpose program, we aim to inspire sustainable practices within our community."
The hotel also introduced the "Clean Your Plate" campaign in its employee dining area, encouraging staff to minimize food waste by taking only what they can consume.
