In celebration of National Batik Day, observed annually on October 2, The Botanica Sanctuary - Pesona Alam Resort & Spa proudly presents a Batik Workshop on September 28, 2024. This event is open to both in-house guests and visitors coming specifically to participate in the workshop. The workshop has taken place from 10 AM until completion at the Gazebo Villa, a beautiful and serene location with lush natural surroundings, offering an unforgettable learning experience.
The batik workshop aims to educate participants about Indonesia's rich cultural heritage of batik, while providing them the opportunity to directly experience the process of creating batik. During the event, participants were guided by professional batik artisans from Batik Pancawati Bogor, who shared their skills and knowledge of various traditional batik techniques. Additionally, each participant has the chance to take home their own batik creation as a keepsake.
