ZARA RETURNS TO PLAZA INDONESIA WITH A NEW STORE 

CONCEPT AND ENHANCED SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

 

ZARA has reopened its relocated store at Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta, introducing its latest global store concept that combines fashion, architecture, sustainability elements, and technology to create a more premium shopping experience.

 

Occupying more than 2,100 square meters on a single floor, the renovated store features expanded Woman, Man, and Kids sections, including dedicated spaces for fragrances, shoes & bags, as well as a curated selection of collections.

 

Designed to provide a more comfortable and immersive shopping experience, the store consists of a series of interconnected spaces, each with its own distinct character and atmosphere. The open and fluid interior architectural concept allows customers to explore various collections more easily while enjoying a unique visual and spatial experience throughout the store.

 

 

This new concept also introduces product display solutions designed to enhance collection presentation and improve customer interaction. The specially curated layout showcases key collections in a more intuitive, engaging, and inspiring way. Meanwhile, the dedicated fragrance area further enriches the customer experience through a new merchandising concept that presents fragrance collections in an elegant and immersive setting.

 

Material selection plays a key role in shaping the store’s identity. A neutral color palette is combined with natural wood materials in various textures, ranging from dark to light tones, alongside black metal details, stainless steel accents, and subtle decorative elements to create an atmosphere that is both contemporary and timeless.

 

In the Woman section, collections aimed at a younger audience are presented through stainless steel finishes and an industrial aesthetic that reinforces their contemporary character. Meanwhile, the shoes & bags area is centered around a wooden island installation that brings together footwear and bag collections while serving as a focal point that enhances the customer experience as they explore the store.

 

The store also introduces an innovative fitting room information system. Through digital screens located at the fitting room entrance, customers can easily view fitting room availability in real time. The system provides clear information on occupied and available fitting rooms, creating a smoother and more efficient customer flow.

 

Through this latest store concept, ZARA Plaza Indonesia brings together fashion, architecture, and technology to create a more integrated and premium shopping experience.

 

INNOVATION IN CUSTOMER SERVICE

 

The store integrates various advanced technological solutions to deliver a seamless shopping experience between the physical store and ZARA’s digital platforms. Customers can interact with ZARA both in-store and through the ZARA website and app, allowing them to check real-time stock availability and find products more quickly and easily.

 

To further enhance customer convenience, ZARA Plaza Indonesia also features a dedicated online order collection area as well as staff-assisted payment points in every category, including payment stations that are easily accessible to all customers.

 

As part of its commitment to sustainability, the store provides collection points for cardboard packaging from online orders to be recycled. In addition, used clothing collection containers are available, allowing garments to enjoy a longer lifecycle through collaboration with ZARA’s social partners.

 

SHOES & BAGS

 

This latest store concept introduces a dedicated shoes & bags area complete with personalized assistance services to provide a more exclusive and immersive shopping experience. By bringing together a range of key products within a specially curated area, the concept strengthens collection presentation while enhancing customer engagement.

 

In addition to being displayed in this dedicated area, selected shoe and bag collections are also placed throughout different sections of the store to complement fashion collections and provide more comprehensive style inspiration.

 

EFFICIENCY

 

In line with ZARA’s commitment to sustainability, ZARA Plaza Indonesia adopts a range of the latest energy-efficiency solutions, including energy-saving climate control and air-conditioning systems, as well as an innovative LED lighting design that reduces energy consumption without compromising comfort or the quality of the store environment.

 

Furthermore, the store is connected to the internal Inergy platform, enabling centralized monitoring of electricity usage and air-conditioning systems. This technology helps optimize operational management, improve maintenance effectiveness, and support the development of strategies to continuously reduce energy requirements.
