This exciting chapter debuted with Epicurean Encounters, a one-day gastronomic showcase held on Friday, 4 July 2025, at The Dining Room, Level 12. The event spotlighted the signature creations of Raffles Jakarta’s talented Food & Beverage team, marking more than just a relaunch—it was a celebration of the people and passion behind the cuisine.

At the heart of this culinary renaissance is a renewed vision grounded in creativity, consistency, and collaboration. Raffles Jakarta honors the hands and minds that craft each dish, reaffirming its commitment to not just fine dining, but to meaningful, immersive experiences.

 

Leading the Evolution

Steering this new direction is Lucas David Curcio Pérez, Head of Operations, F&B, and Culinary. With over 15 years of international experience across Argentina, Colombia, Spain, the United States, and Indonesia, Lucas brings a globally inspired, forward-thinking approach. His leadership emphasizes food as a medium of storytelling—delivering refined, heartfelt experiences that resonate with purpose and place.

 

 

Joining him at the helm is Chef Muhammad Maliki, the hotel’s newly appointed Executive Chef. A cornerstone of the Raffles Jakarta team since its opening in 2014, Chef Maliki’s promotion as the first Indonesian to hold this role is a proud milestone. Deeply rooted in Indonesian culinary heritage, his style blends authenticity with modern technique, creating dishes that are soulful, sincere, and elevated.
