TUMI, the leading travel, lifestyle and accessories brand, proudly celebrated the grand opening of its newly relocated store at Grand Indonesia with an exclusive event that brought together leading media, cultural tastemakers, and longtime brand supporters for an immersive evening of storytelling and connection.
 

Located on the Ground Floor of West Mall and spanning 139.45 square meters, the newly reopened store brings TUMI’s Manifest design concept to life—an elevated retail environment that blends thoughtful spatial design with refined materiality. The space features marble finishes and bronze accents inspired by TUMI’s Heritage Wall, a signature design element that pays homage to the brand’s legacy of craftsmanship and innovation. Integrated lighting and curated product displays further enhance the experience, offering guests a seamless and immersive journey through the world of TUMI.

The evening welcomed over 41 guests, including notable figures such as actress Demmy Febriana, Ina Marika, Isel Fricella, Actor Ciccio Manassero, model Faradina Amalia, and leading influencers like Chika Alifia, Maura Shafa, and Jemin Yap, creating a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere that reflected the cultural relevance of the brand in Indonesia.

 

Ibrahim Risyad shared his personal experience with TUMI and insightful travel tips with the guests

 

A highlight of the evening was a special appearance by actor and longtime friend of the brand, Ibrahim Risyad, who joined guests for an engaging on-stage conversation. Known for his dynamic lifestyle and sharp sense of style, Ibrahim shared personal anecdotes from his travels, packing tips, and a closer look at his favorite pieces from TUMI’s Fall 2025 Collection. Among his go-to selections: the 19 Degree Lite in Wine for long-haul trips, the Alpha Double Expansion Satchel in Poster Print for short getaways, and the Alpha Bravo Search Backpack in Electric Blue for daily use. Ibrahim walked guests through each item live, bringing the brand’s design and performance values to life.

Following the conversation, guests explored a preview of the Fall 2025 Collection. Drawing inspiration from New York City, the brand’s design nucleus, the collection channels the city’s energy, edge, and architectural influence of New York City across iconic collections such as : Alpha, Alpha Bravo, Voyageur, and Harrison. Seasonal colorways such as Poster Print and Electric Blue were woven throughout the event’s visual merchandising and storytelling moments.
 

Guests were treated to New York–inspired canapés and artisanal mocktails, a nod to the brand’s roots and the seasonal inspiration behind the Fall 2025 Collection. Adding a layer of personalization and creative expression, attendees were also invited to customize leather luggage tags on-site, featuring hand-painted designs by a local artist exclusively commissioned for the event. The activation offering each guest a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind keepsake.
