The Langham, Jakarta proudly welcomes two distinguished talents to its culinary family: Beverage Manager Andrea Marseglia and Chef Diego Bocchimuzzi, Chef de Cuisine at Tom’s by Tom Aikens. The addition of Andrea and Chef Diego reinforces this philosophy, strengthening the hotel’s commitment to collaborating with world-class professionals who elevate both dining and bar experiences.

 

Andrea Marseglia, of Italian and New Zealand heritage, is regarded as one of the region’s most progressive bartenders. As the founder of Teresa Bar in New Zealand, he helped establish one of the country’s most acclaimed cocktail venues, recognised with Cuisine’s Drinks List of the Year and several awards for design and innovation. A dedicated advocate of sustainability and narrative-driven mixology, Andrea has earned global distinction with achievements including Second Place at the Flor de Caña Sustainable Cocktail Challenge, Top 10 worldwide in the Jameson Black Barrel Bartender Series, and First Place at the Plantation Rum Cup AUNZ. His thoughtful, inventive approach will enhance the bar experiences across The Langham, Jakarta, including Artesian Rooftop Bar, Alice, Tom’s by Tom Aikens, and Morimoto.

At Tom’s, Chef Diego Bocchimuzzi introduces a spirited contemporary culinary style rooted in his Argentinian heritage. Known for his mastery of grilling, dry-ageing, and premium beef, Chef Diego approaches each dish as an experience shaped by both precision and passion. His career includes notable roles across the UAE, China, and Southeast Asia, and he now brings his expertise to the menu crafted by Michelin-starred Chef Tom Aikens.
