A Fresh Take on Familiar Classics

At its heart, OSMO exists to make guests feel good. Here, cocktails are more than drinks — they’re experiences designed to spark warmth, curiosity, and conversation. Each creation starts with the familiar comfort of a classic, deconstructed and reimagined through a new lens. The result? Drinks that feel both nostalgic and refreshingly unexpected.

 

The debut menu, aptly titled “No Big Deal,” encapsulates OSMO’s philosophy of finding joy in life’s simple moments. Inspired by small, often-overlooked pleasures — from pressing “Skip Intro” on Netflix to checking off a grocery list — the menu features 10 signature bastardized classics and 3 non-alcoholic “Driver’s Drinks.”

 

“Each drink is made to fit whatever mood you are in, whoever you are with, and whenever the occasion comes — no big deal,” said Agung “El Hombre” Satria, OSMO’s Co-Founder and Head Bartender.

 

Highlights from the Menu

- Among the standouts is OSMO’s Grocery List, a tropical-inspired mix of turmeric and honeysuckle-infused reposado tequila with pandan and lime — a sophisticated ode to Indonesia’s market flavors.

- Skip Intro offers a playful, shiso-infused vodka cocktail with yuzu, green tea yogurt, and pink grapefruit — the perfect icebreaker to start the night.

- For whisky lovers, Daddy’s Iced Tea gives the Highball a smoky twist with blended and peated whisky topped with cream oolong soda.

- Meanwhile, Up. To. Me. turns the Martini into an interactive experience, allowing guests to choose their own combination of ingredients for a cocktail that’s never quite the same twice.

- Finally, The Burp After Big Meals humorously celebrates post-dinner satisfaction with palo santo gin, gherkins, lemongrass, and peppermint tonic.

 

 

Indonesia’s First Solera Whisky

Beyond cocktails, OSMO makes history by debuting Indonesia’s first Solera Whisky, blending three whisky styles using a method typically seen in winemaking. Proudly displayed behind the bar, the Solera barrels yield a whisky that’s bold, spice-forward, and smooth. Guests can enjoy it by the bottle, as a shot, or in a highball — an invitation to discover the evolution of flavor in each pour.

 

Elevated Bar Snacks

OSMO’s culinary program mirrors its cocktail philosophy: familiar yet twisted. The bar serves seven inventive snacks that reinterpret comfort food with flair. Highlights include Sate Padang reimagined for the bar, Smoked Duck Dry Ramen rich with umami, Crispy Fire Shrimp with spicy prawn tartar sauce, and Cireng Oncom, a modern nod to Indonesian tradition. Each dish is designed to pair perfectly with cocktails or whisky.

 

The OSMO Experience

Designed to feel exclusive yet unpretentious, OSMO’s architecture balances clean modern lines with communal warmth. The bar’s open layout and thoughtful ventilation ensure comfort, while the design encourages conversation over pretense. Even the soundscape reflects the brand’s pulse — curated R&B and Afrohouse rhythms that flow with the mood of the crowd rather than dictate it.

 

Adding to the sense of ritual is OSMO’s signature shot ceremony, inspired by Agung’s Balinese roots — a spontaneous moment of connection that captures the spirit of the bar.

 

“It’s not just about cocktails,” Agung notes. “It’s about creating a space where you feel at home — but also a little surprised.”

 

 

The Visionaries Behind OSMO

At the helm is Agung “El Hombre” Satria, a prominent figure in Indonesia’s cocktail scene with over a decade of experience across Europe and Asia. As a Global Finalist of the Angostura Global Cocktail Competition 2020 and creative mind behind multiple award-winning bar programs, Agung brings a bold, inclusive vision to OSMO.

 

Developed under TOMA Group, the team behind TOMA Brasserie — ranked among the Top 3 Best Cocktail Menus in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 — OSMO marks the group’s first standalone bar concept.
