ELLAYA’s latest collection was showcased by the finalists of Puteri Indonesia on 21 February 2025, at Champagne Lounge, The Westin Jakarta. ELLAYA’s Raya Collection is titled ‘Papyrus Bloom’, inspired by the elegance of the papyrus plant, revered in Ancient Egyptian history as a symbol of knowledge, growth and timeless luxury. “We aim to present something timeless yet still relevant to current trends,” said Happy Jehan, founder of ELLAYA INDONESIA. Embracing a minimalist yet sophisticated concept, the collection reflects the style of modern women, suitable not only for Raya celebrations but also for various other occasions.
The launch event commenced with The Westin Jakarta’s Executive Pastry Chef, Enggie Anggakusumah, presenting “The Spice Route Afternoon Tea,” featuring flavors inspired by the legendary trade routes from South Asia, the Maluku Islands and Southeast Asia. The finalists of Puteri Indonesia modeled ELLAYA’s collection, accompanied by a musical performance from Ricky Riyanto, the winner of Westin Street Idol 3. Renowned makeup artist Bubah Alfian also shared makeup tips with guests attending the event.
