Guests enjoyed a unique culinary experience, with each dish telling a distinct story from the hotel’s renowned restaurants. The journey began at Populico, an American Bistro-style venue on the 1st floor, with a Barista Takeover led by Ega Riandi, the 2024 Indonesia Coffee Art Battle winner. Guests enjoyed three specialty beverages paired with exquisite desserts crafted by Chef Aditya Nugroho, Executive Pastry Chef. These Indonesian fusion desserts—Onde-Onde Pandan Gelato, Truffle Choux, and Hazelnut Cigar—offered innovative presentations with flavors that celebrate the richness of local culture.

Next, the experience moved to LIN 林 Chinese Restaurant on the 2nd floor, under the guidance of Chef Albert "Liew Ban Foh," the restaurant’s Chinese Head Chef. Guests sampled traditional Chinese cuisine and participated in a unique Chinese calligraphy session, blending culinary art with cultural immersion. The highlight was a tea tasting with Tema Tea, accompanied by savory delights like Peking duck and salted egg crispy fish skin.

The journey concluded at Kayu Manis Restaurant, also known as Canella, on the 6th floor, where Chef Ruly Mandala, Sous Chef, and Chef Ivan Leonard, Executive Chef of Hotel Tentrem Jakarta, led an Italian-themed dinner in a live cooking show format. The event marked the official launch of Canella, now open from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Guests witnessed the chefs’ expertise in preparing Italian specialties, from Caesar Wedges and Salmon Crudo to Pasta Cartoccio, Secondi Branzino, Lamb A’la Romana, Pizza Bresaola, Smoked Salmon, Tableside Tiramisu, and Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake.
