Hotel Tentrem Jakarta Unveils Its First Art Collaboration Through Tentrem Rona Jawi

Hotel Tentrem Jakarta introduces its inaugural fine art collaboration as part of Tentrem Rona Jawi, a cultural campaign dedicated to celebrating the richness of Indonesian heritage through art and creative partnerships. This latest initiative takes the form of a visual art exhibition in collaboration with D’Gallerie, presenting works by Balinese artist Putu Winata under the exhibition title Saujana.

The collaboration showcases ten curated artworks by Putu Winata, specially selected and made available at Hotel Tentrem Jakarta. Saujana is interpreted as a reflection on memories of a journey toward balance—an ongoing process of learning to live with sincerity and mindfulness. Through a contemplative visual approach, the artworks depict expansive vistas and inner landscapes, inviting audiences to reflect on the beauty and grandeur of nature as an inseparable part of human existence.

This exhibition creates a dialogue between contemporary visual art and Indonesia’s cultural values. Through this collaboration, Hotel Tentrem Jakarta affirms its belief that culture is not merely something to be remembered, but something that must continue to live, evolve, and remain relevant in the present day. Art becomes a bridge—connecting tradition, creative process, and contemporary experience in a deeply personal and meaningful way.

The collaboration takes place throughout Hotel Tentrem Jakarta, where the Saujana artworks are integrated into the hotel’s spaces as part of an immersive cultural experience that harmonizes with the property’s ambiance and atmosphere. This initiative brings together Hotel Tentrem Jakarta, D’Gallerie as curatorial partner, and Putu Winata as an artist who consistently explores the relationship between humanity, nature, and cultural identity in his works.

The Saujana exhibition officially opens on 17 January 2026 and runs until 17 March 2026. The program continues with an exclusive art workshop session with Putu Winata on 18 January 2026, offering participants a rare opportunity to engage more closely with the artist’s creative process.

Through this collaboration, Tentrem Rona Jawi is realized as a cultural platform that presents Indonesia not merely as a backdrop, but as a living source of inspiration—one that continues to move, engage in dialogue, and evolve alongside the passage of time.
