Hennessy MyWay 2026 Calls Indonesian Bartenders to Join the Global Stage
Discovering Indonesia’s next generation of bartenders through

Hennessy proudly announces the return of Hennessy MyWay 2026, the sixth edition of its global cocktail competition, inviting bartenders across Indonesia to showcase their creativity, craftsmanship, and purpose on an international stage. As part of this global initiative, Hennessy Indonesia continues its commitment to discovering and nurturing a new generation of talents who will go on to represent the country at the Global Finals in France. Hennessy MyWay is more than a competition, it is a platform that challenges bartenders to redefine cocktail artistry through sustainability, storytelling, and ritual-driven experiences.
Building on Indonesia’s strong track record, the country continues to establish itself as a rising force in the global mixology scene. In 2023, Rizky Ramdhani Razak gained international recognition as Global Top 3 and recipient of the Most Sustainable Award. This momentum continued in 2024 with I Gusti Putu Agus Giri Asta, who earned a place in the Global Top 3 and won the prestigious Best Service Ritual Award. Most recently, Arya Dharmayasa further strengthened Indonesia’s presence as the Regional Winner, reflecting the country’s growing influence within the global bartending community.
To kick off this year’s edition and drive participation, Hennessy Indonesia presents a series of pre-event activations across four key cities: Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, and Bali. Each city features a masterclass and guest shift session held within the same day, designed to both educate and engage the local bartending community. The masterclasses provide insights into the competition mechanics, judging criteria, and submission process, while the guest shifts offer a more dynamic and celebratory experience, bringing Hennessy’s cocktail culture to life.
Masterclass sessions are supported by Indonesia’s previous Hennessy MyWay winners, who share their journeys, creative approaches, and firsthand experiences from competing on the global stage, offering both inspiration and practical guidance for aspiring participants.
Road to Hennessy MyWay 2026
The following sessions highlight the roadshow events that have taken place across different cities:

● Bandung — BSMT (17 April 2026)
● Semarang — Zeru, Padma Hotel (24 April 2026)
● Bali — The Shady Pig Berawa (26 April 2026)

Competition Timeline
● Submission Deadline: 15 May 2026
● Top 10 Indonesia Announcement: 1 June 2026
● Physical Judging Period: 15 June 2026 onwards
● Top 5 Announcement: 15 July 2026
● National Final: 13 August 2026
● Global Final: October 2026, France
The competition begins with an open call for submissions, where bartenders are required to present an original cocktail accompanied by a video showcasing its ritual serve. Entries will be evaluated based on sustainability, drinkability, ritual presentation, product knowledge, and overall execution. Finalists will progress through multiple stages, culminating in the National Final, where one bartender will be selected to represent Indonesia on the global stage.
