Celebrating 32 Years of Innovation, PT Hatten Bali Tbk
Opens a New Chapter with The Cellardoor Jakarta and Two Islands Fine Tawny Launch
As PT Hatten Bali Tbk celebrates 32 years of pioneering Indonesia's modern wine industry, the company continues its next phase of growth with the reopening of The Cellardoor Jakarta and the introduction of Two Islands Fine Tawny — two strategic initiatives that reinforce its commitment to innovation, consumer engagement, and the continued development of Indonesia's wine industry. Together, these milestones reflect PT Hatten Bali Tbk's long-term vision of making premium wines more accessible while strengthening Indonesia's position on the global wine map.
PT Hatten Bali Tbk is home to four distinct wine brands, each crafted to serve different consumer preferences, occasions, and market segments. Hatten Wines, Indonesia's pioneering Bali wine, is made from locally grown grapes; Two Islands Wines showcases premium South Australian grapes vinified in Bali; Two Islands Reserve focuses on limited-production, single-vineyard wines that celebrate exceptional terroir and craftsmanship; while Dragonfly Wines offers a fun, approachable collection of sweet, easy-drinking wines designed for everyday enjoyment. Together, these four brands demonstrate the breadth of PT Hatten Bali Tbk's winemaking expertise and its commitment to developing a diverse portfolio that meets the evolving preferences of consumers in both Indonesia and international markets.
More than three decades after introducing Indonesia's first locally produced wine, PT Hatten Bali Tbk continues to strengthen its position not only through product innovation, but also by creating meaningful experiences that bring consumers closer to the world of wine. Guided by the values that have defined the company since its inception which are Pioneer, Innovation, and Legacy. These latest initiatives mark another important milestone in Hatten Wines' journey as Indonesia's pioneering wine producer and a publicly listed company.
As a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX: WINE), PT Hatten Bali Tbk continues to invest in strengthening both its premium product portfolio and direct consumer engagement. The reopening of The Cellardoor Jakarta and the launch of Two Islands Fine Tawny form part of the company's long-term strategy to expand brand accessibility, elevate consumer experiences, and reinforce its position as Indonesia's leading wine producer while creating sustainable value for customers, business partners, and shareholders alike.
The reopening of The Cellardoor Jakarta marks the return of Hatten Wines' official showcasing facility in the capital after a five-year hiatus. Designed as more than a retail destination, The Cellardoor offers an approachable space where visitors can explore the complete portfolio of PT Hatten Bali Tbk—including Hatten Wines, Two Islands Wines, Two Islands Reserve, Dragonfly Wines, and Arak & Brem Bali Dewi Sri—through guided tastings, personalised recommendations, and educational experiences that encourage a deeper appreciation of wine.

Located in South Jakarta, The Cellardoor reflects the growing appreciation for wine culture among Indonesian consumers, who are increasingly seeking premium lifestyle experiences, food pairing knowledge, and locally crafted products in an inviting environment. Beyond purchasing wine, visitors are encouraged to discover the stories, craftsmanship, and heritage behind every label—making wine appreciation more accessible for both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
Complementing the reopening is the launch of Two Islands Fine Tawny, a sophisticated Port-Style wine inspired by Australia's renowned fortified wine tradition. Crafted from premium South Australian grapes and matured using the traditional Solera 5 Years ageing system before being vinified in Bali, Fine Tawny completes the Two Islands portfolio by introducing its first sweet fortified expression.
Made from a blend of Shiraz, Grenache, Tempranillo, and Muscat, Fine Tawny offers rich layers of caramel, dried fruits, toasted nuts, orange peel, cocoa and exotic spices with a smooth, mellow finish. The wine also incorporates house-made brandy aged in oak barrels at Hatten Winery's Sanur facility, creating remarkable depth while highlighting the artisanship and innovation that have become hallmarks of PT Hatten Bali Tbk.
"For us, these two milestones represent more than the opening of a new space or the introduction of a new wine," said Ida Bagus Rai Budarsa, President Director of PT Hatten Bali Tbk. "They reflect how PT Hatten Bali Tbk continues to evolve after more than three decades—remaining true to our pioneering spirit while responding to the changing lifestyles of Indonesian consumers. Through The Cellardoor Jakarta, we bring people closer to our brands, while Fine Tawny demonstrates our commitment to continuously expanding the diversity of wines we offer. Together, they represent our vision of making wine more approachable while strengthening Indonesia's position in the global wine landscape", said Ida Bagus Rai Budarsa, President Director PT Hatten Bali Tbk.
Meanwhile, according to James Kalleske, Head Winemaker PT Hatten Bali Tbk, "Two Islands has always celebrated the diversity of Australian wine styles. With Fine Tawny, we've completed the collection by introducing a premium fortified wine crafted using traditional methods. It's a wine that honours Australia's rich heritage while reflecting the craftsmanship we've developed here in Bali. More importantly, it offers wine lovers another opportunity to discover a timeless style designed for slow enjoyment and meaningful moments"
As Indonesian consumers continue to seek more premium lifestyle experiences, authentic craftsmanship, and opportunities to deepen their appreciation of wine, PT Hatten Bali Tbk remains committed to leading the industry's evolution through continuous innovation—both in its products and the experiences it creates.
