Boosting the Economy and Empowering MSMEs Through Global Collaboration: Global Sources Indonesia 2025 Returns Bigger with New Categories and Interactive Experiences

Global Sources Indonesia is set to return in 2025 as a strategic trade exhibition committed to strengthening the national economy. Amid ongoing economic challenges, the event serves as a powerful platform to support business players—especially distributors, importers, retailers, brand owners, and MSMEs—by helping them increase efficiency, profitability, and competitiveness. By connecting local businesses with trusted global suppliers, Global Sources Indonesia plays a key role in reinforcing industrial supply chains, expanding business opportunities, and creating job openings across Indonesia.

Global Sources Indonesia is an international trade show designed to drive efficiency and growth for Indonesian entrepreneurs by providing direct access to high-quality products at competitive prices. This exhibition offers valuable opportunities for industry players—including business owners, distributors, importers, retailers, brand developers, and new entrepreneurs—to build strategic partnerships with reliable manufacturers and suppliers from China, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

With over 800 verified suppliers and more than 140,000 product samples on display, Global Sources Indonesia enables business owners to streamline their sourcing process—saving both time and costs—without the need to travel overseas.

Toerangga Putra, President Director of PT Adhouse Clarion Events, emphasized the exhibition’s significant role in driving the national economy. “I believe Global Sources Indonesia will bring transformative impact to Indonesia’s development. This exhibition is more than just a business event—it’s a vital bridge that provides broader access for local businesses to grow, supports government policies, and opens up major opportunities to strengthen Indonesia’s economic foundation,” he said. With more open and transparent import access, the exhibition is expected to help business players—especially MSMEs—gain easier and more affordable access to raw materials and products, boosting productivity and competitiveness in the global market.

This year, Global Sources Indonesia returns with a fresh and innovative format. For the first time, the Lifestyle category has been expanded to include a new segment: Fashion & Accessories, opening new business potential in the rapidly growing fashion industry.

In addition, the 2025 edition will feature a range of exciting and immersive activities—including VR Experience, Mini Basketball Arcade, live product demos with influencers, and more—offering an engaging experience for visitors. Attendees can also take part in inspiring business conferences, featuring influential speakers from government and industry, aimed at fostering real collaboration opportunities to advance business development and job creation in Indonesia.

The exhibition will be held from September 25–27, 2025, at Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Senayan – Jakarta.

Registration is free and can be completed via the official Global Sources Indonesia website.

In an interview, Toerangga added, “Global Sources Indonesia is not just a sourcing event—it’s a strategic platform we’ve built to support MSMEs and national businesses to grow more efficiently and competitively. Through this exhibition, we aim to ensure that Indonesian entrepreneurs—whether just starting out or already established—gain direct access to more affordable product sources, essential production components, and even global investment and partnership opportunities. We believe that with stronger access, businesses will not only be more competitive in the local market but also be prepared to enter the international stage. This initiative aligns with the government’s direction in strengthening supply chains, encouraging industrial downstreaming, and empowering MSMEs as the backbone of the national economy. Indonesia must not only be a consumption market—we must become a center for production, innovation, and global trade collaboration.”
