Guests were welcomed into an atmosphere that blended ERRE’s contemporary sophistication with Okami Loft’s warm, loft-like aesthetic and moody lighting. Together, they set the stage for an immersive cocktail experience that highlighted refined Japanese techniques interpreted through the perspectives of three distinguished mixologists.
Leading the night was Akbar Zikri from ERRE Gran Meliá Jakarta, who presented “Dios Es Mi Juramento”, a tropical fusion of spiced rum, Malibu, mango purée, passion syrup, homemade sparkling coconut, and fresh kopyor. Known for his narrative-driven approach to mixology, Akbar—Bacardi Cocktails Champion Qatar 2020 and WSET Level 2 certified—captivated guests with a drink that balanced storytelling and technical precision.

Sarah Louise, mixologist and DJ with deep roots in the electronic music scene, introduced “Regalo de Dios”, a cocktail that blended bourbon, homemade falernum, homemade kunyit asem, egg white, and homemade ginger beer. Her creation, shaped by rhythm and cultural duality, resonated with guests who appreciated cocktails built on both technique and artistic expression.
Bringing the distinct spirit of Okami Loft, Rizky “Lowbone” Sanjaya showcased three signature drinks, each reflecting his 16 years of bartending excellence. Guests enjoyed:
Chainsaw Rick – Okami’s house-blend whisky, lychee elder acid, and rose tonic
Rakkasei – a silky peanut butter whiskey mix with amaretto and vanilla bitters
Palojito – mint tequila, citrus Paloma base, tonic, topped with a playful chili-lime rim
Lowbone’s celebrated career—spanning wins at Gilbey’s Fun Competition, Monin 2014, Diageo World Class 2016, and more—was reflected in his meticulous balance of flavor and flair.

The Bar Takeover proved to be more than a collaboration; it was a cultural fusion where Japanese aesthetics, Indonesian creativity, and global influences came together in harmony. Guests experienced a one-night-only showcase of how diverse backgrounds and artistic sensibilities can craft cocktails that tell compelling stories.
With its exceptional turnout and enthusiastic reception, ERRE & Urrechu Jakarta’s Bar Takeover with Okami Loft stood out as one of November’s most memorable events—an invigorating celebration of mixology, culture, and community.
