In celebration of its 11th anniversary on July 7, 2025, Discovery Hotel Ancol proudly presented the Discovery Ancol Fun Run—a vibrant sports event infused with fun and entertainment, set against the backdrop of Jakarta’s most iconic beach tourism destination, Ancol.

On Sunday morning, June 8, 2025, the excitement was palpable as 600 participants gathered to join the 5K and 10K fun run. The scenic beachside route offered runners a refreshing start to the day, accompanied by a cool sea breeze and stunning coastal views. This relaxed, beachside running experience is the hallmark that sets the Discovery Ancol Fun Run apart from other similar events.
This successful event was made possible through a strong partnership with Maximo CommAction as the race management partner, along with enthusiastic support from many stakeholders. The run was officially flagged off by Mr. Dadi Mulyadi, General Manager of Discovery Hotel Ancol, who opened the event with a message of unity and celebration.
The excitement didn’t end at the finish line. Participants were treated to lively entertainment, including a high-energy Discorobic session, performances by popular dangdut artists, and the chance to win a variety of attractive door prizes.
“The Discovery Fun Run is more than just a running event; it’s our way of expressing gratitude to the community and everyone who has been part of Discovery Ancol’s journey for over a decade,” said Dadi Mulyadi, General Manager of Discovery Hotel Ancol. “As we approach our 11th anniversary, we want each event to carry meaning and deliver a positive impact.”

The Discovery Ancol Fun Run 2025 marks just the beginning of a series of meaningful activities leading up to Discovery Hotel Ancol’s 11th anniversary. The celebrations will continue with community-focused initiatives such as environmental clean-ups (Saber), blood donation drives, visits to elderly residents under RW 02 Ancol’s care, and will culminate in a heartfelt thanksgiving with local orphans.
