Malaka has long been recognized for its rich history and distinctive Peranakan cuisine. Drawing inspiration from the unique appearance, aroma, and flavors of Peranakan (Chinese-Malay) dishes, MAMA MALAKA brings this authentic menu to Indonesia. The restaurant emphasizes a careful selection of spices, traditional cooking techniques, and distinctive Peranakan decor characterized by soft yet vibrant colors, ensuring that patrons are treated to the remarkable flavors of Peranakan cuisine.

Patrons are invited to savor appetizers like Jagung Kriwil, known for its unique blend of savory, sweet, and spicy tastes. The main offerings include Nasi Lemak alongside a variety of fish dishes, with Sweet and Sour Grouper and mango sauce highly recommended. The dining experience is rounded off with the authentic dessert, Ice Kacang.

Currently, Mama Malaka has established four branches, which include locations at Wisma BNI 46, Telkom Hub, and St. Carolus Hospital, the latter of which features a food court concept under the name Mama Express. The most recent addition is situated on the ground floor of the Patrajasa Building on Jalan Gatot Subroto, on Jalan Gatot Subroto and started its operations in early August 2024.

Mama Malaka Patrajasa, as the newest outlet, presents a unique concept that sets it apart from earlier locations, incorporating a VIP space suitable for meetings or for patrons desiring a more private dining experience. Keeping pace with the trends in Indonesia's food and beverage sector, this outlet features a culinary offering that blends the rich flavors of Chinese and Indonesian dishes, celebrated for their variety of spices.

Mama Malaka is a member of the Marche Culinary Group, which encompasses several other culinary brands, including Mokka Coffee, Yong Tau Fu, Gyu Jin Tepan, Singapore Street Kitchen, and Kitchen Avenue.
