Ashley Hotel Group Celebrates Kartini Day with Internal Wellness Session for Female Employees
In celebration of Kartini Day 2026, Ashley Hotel Group held an internal wellness session titled “Dear Me, I See You! – A Journey Back to Yourself.” This initiative was designed as a form of appreciation dedicated to female employees, while also encouraging them to take a moment to reconnect with themselves amidst the demands of daily work.
The event was held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (WIB) at Downing Ballroom, Ashley Wahid Hasyim Jakarta, with participation of 50 female employees.
The wellness program was designed as a holistic recovery space, combining body movement, posture awareness, and emotional release techniques based on the body-mind connection. The session was divided into two main segments led by professional facilitators.

The first session was led by Ari, beginning with an introduction to the relationship between body posture, internal organs, and emotions. This was followed by a guided movement practice of approximately 50 minutes, focusing on body realignment and maintaining physical well-being amidst busy work routines.
The second session was led by Dea, who introduced the concept and poses of TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique) as a method for emotional release. Participants were then guided through a hands-on practice session lasting approximately 50 minutes, allowing them to experience the release process more deeply.
Through this initiative, Ashley Hotel Group reaffirms its commitment to supporting employee well-being, particularly for women, not only professionally but also emotionally and mentally.
“Through this initiative, we would like to remind our employees that self-care is not a luxury, but a fundamental foundation in maintaining a balanced life and work. ‘Dear Me, I See You’ reflects a simple yet powerful reminder to pause, acknowledge ourselves, and reconnect with who we are — allowing us to embrace self-love more intentionally. Kartini Day serves as a meaningful moment to appreciate ourselves and one another,” said Mira Octavia, Sr Corporate HR Manager, Ashley Hotel Group.
