Archipelago Hotels Strengthens Global Distribution Ecosystem Through Two Strategic Partnerships

Archipelago Hotels signs partnership with Dida Holdings and expands collaboration with WebBeds — strengthening its global B2B network

Archipelago Hotels, the largest privately owned hotel management group in Indonesia and Southeast Asia with more than 300 properties and 45,000 rooms across 13 brands, is strengthening its global distribution strategy through two strategic partnerships. One initiative involves signing a distribution agreement with Dida Holdings, an AI-powered global travel distribution platform headquartered in Shenzhen, China. At the same time, Archipelago Hotels is also expanding its six-month strategic collaboration with WebBeds, one of the world’s largest B2B hotel distribution platforms, to broaden market access and increase property exposure globally.

Archipelago Hotels Joins Dida’s Global Network: 35,000 Agents Across More Than 120 International Markets

Archipelago Hotels has officially entered into a distribution partnership with Dida Holdings to expand hotel booking access in global markets. Through this agreement, all Archipelago Hotels properties can now be accessed by more than 35,000 travel agents, tour operators, travel management companies (TMCs), and loyalty programs within Dida’s network across more than 120 international markets, including Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.

The signing comes amid strong momentum in Indonesia’s tourism sector. In 2025, Indonesia welcomed 1.34 million visitors from China, the highest figure in the last six years. Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism is targeting two million Chinese visitors and a total of 17 million international tourist arrivals in 2026. In this context, Dida Holdings’ strong presence in China’s outbound travel market, combined with its expanding footprint across international source markets, is expected to help Archipelago Hotels capture global travel demand more efficiently.

The two companies will focus on four early priorities:

  • Expanding Dida's hotel coverage across Archipelago Hotels brands, including Aston, Alana, Huxley, Kamuela, Avanika, Harper, Quest, Four Corners, Neo, fave, Nordic, and Park Lane.

  • Strengthening API connectivity for real-time inventory and rate distribution across multiple source markets.

  • Joint participation in Dida's Engage events, which bring hoteliers face to face with leading travel agents from China and other markets.

  • Exploring how Dida's global network can support Archipelago's expansion in Latin America and the Middle East.

“We are glad to formalize this agreement with Archipelago Hotels. Archipelago Hotels has built something special in Southeast Asia, with a footprint, brand range, and technology mindset that fit very well with how we work. With this agreement, our 35,000 travel sellers across more than 120 source markets can now book Archipelago Hotels properties from upscale resorts in Bali to select-service hotels in secondary cities. That is the kind of supply our buyers ask for. As Dida is a technology business first, with one connection, hotel groups like Archipelago Hotels reach high-value segments like travel agents, tour operators, TMCs, and loyalty programs across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas," said Bernard Chionh, Vice President of Commercial Planning at Dida Holdings.

“Dida adds real value to our B2B mix. Their technology and reach let us put our hotels in front of high-value travel sellers in multiple source markets through a single connection. These are guests who book earlier, stay longer, and cancel less. That fits well alongside the other wholesale and B2B partners we work with, and it complements how we run our commercial stack, including FluxRate, our in-house revenue management system,” said Chris Legaspi, Chief Commercial Officer, Archipelago Hotels.

Archipelago Hotels and WebBeds Strengthen Partnership Through Marketing Activation and Distribution Connectivity

Following six months of initial implementation that generated significant demand growth across multiple markets, both companies are now deepening their collaboration by aligning marketing strategies and distribution technology. This next phase focuses on two key areas: marketing activation across WebBeds’ global agent network and enhanced technology-based distribution connectivity.

Two Key Focus Areas of the Extended Archipelago Hotels – WebBeds Partnership

  • Marketing Activation: Accelerated WebBeds Rewards points for retail travel agents booking Archipelago Hotels properties, premium placement across WebBeds’ digital channels including the Travel Aggregator e-magazine, as well as co-branding campaigns and training initiatives in priority markets.

  • Distribution Connectivity: Enhanced integration with leading technology platforms such as Hyperguest and Channex for real-time management of hotel rates, inventory, and content across WebBeds’ global partner network.

“As more Southeast Asian hotel groups expand beyond their home markets, distribution is becoming significantly more complex and fragmented. It is no longer enough to simply broaden reach; success now depends on how effectively supply is connected and activated across multiple channels. This next phase of our partnership is focused on solving that in a practical way, by combining targeted marketing with deeper connectivity so Archipelago Hotels can scale more efficiently across markets,” said Brett Henry, President Asia Pacific, WebBeds.

“As we continue to grow our portfolio and enter new markets, having the right distribution infrastructure in place is critical. Strengthening both marketing and technology with WebBeds allows us to improve how we connect our properties to global demand, and support more consistent, scalable growth,” said Chris Legaspi, Chief Commercial Officer, Archipelago Hotels.

Through its strategic partnership with Dida Holdings and expanded collaboration with WebBeds, Archipelago Hotels continues to strengthen its global distribution ecosystem through an integrated approach combining technology, connectivity, and market activation. This initiative reflects Archipelago Hotels’ commitment to driving sustainable business growth while expanding its brand presence in international markets.
