InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah is offering a series of interesting festive events for family and friends under the theme of Unforgettable Celebrations. Enjoy the thematic line-up curated by InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah at the Hotel’s food and beverage outlets as well as its spacious event spaces.
This month, InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah also introduced an in-house art program in collaboration with internationally renowned jewelry and fashion accessories designer, Rinaldy Yunardi, and equally renowned wedding and events decorator, Nefianto Setiono. Both Rinaldy and Nefi will take on the role of Artist-in-Residence for 2022-2023.
Christmas Decorations
This Festive Season, renowned wedding and event decorator, Nefi Setiono, transforms the Hotel’s lobby lounge, pop-up Christmas cake shop and all-day dining outlet, Sugar & Spice into a Christmas wonderland. As the Hotel’s Artist-In-Residence, Nefi will create the Hotel’s 20-foot Christmas Tree and festoon the spaces with a melange of blue, silver and gold inspired by the colors of artworks and hotel interiors that will give everyone a warm festive feel.
Festive Hampers
InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah collaborates with celebrated millinery, jewelry and fashion accessories designer, Rinaldy Yunardi for the Hotel’s festival hampers.
“Rinaldy’s works have been worn by international celebrities, like Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Christina Aguilera and Carrie Underwood. Now, InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah’s patrons will have the opportunity to own a piece by Rinaldy,” says Piero Bellizzi, General Manager of InterContinental Residences and Hotel Jakarta Pondok Indah.
This Festive Season, Artist-In-Residence, Rinaldy creates a special limited edition ornament which will be included in the Hotel’s Festive Royale Hamper. Each Festive Royale Hamper contains the best chocolates, cookies and cakes from the Hotel, and the specially designed ornament by the internationally acclaimed designer for this magical moment.
InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah also offers a wide variety of Christmas-themed gift hampers, a collaboration between the Hotel’s Culinary Team and popular homegrown pastry chef Kim Pangestu. These hampers have been carefully curated to ensure patrons get the ideal gift for their families, friends and colleagues during the festive occasions.

Filled with two artisanal cookies, Panettone, Stollen, a Chocolate Fudge Box of 12, a jar of artisanal jam, Duck Rillette, a Chocolate Praline box of nine, Foie Gras Terrine, Smoked Duck Breast, Salmon Gravlax, and Louis Roederer Champagne.
Should patrons fancy a savory Christmas dish, InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah also offers special hampers of scrumptious Beef Wellington for a whole family.

Christmas Celebrations
InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah starts its Christmas Celebrations with its Christmas Special at The Lounge from 1-25 December 2022. The enchanting Christmas Special will feature a unique Festive Afternoon Tea session at the price of IDR 588,000++. During the period, the beautiful lounge will also offer exceptional Christmas cocktails crafted by the hotel’s mixologist Bill Wismoyo and a special festive a la carte menu for patrons to try. On 6 December 2022, guests are invited to witness a magical Christmas Tree Lighting at The Lounge with the presence of a Christmas choir and a talented pianist to enliven the wondrous moment.
As a tradition, InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah also provides a Festive Buffet session at Sugar & Spice. From 19-23 December 2022 and 26-29 December 2022, patrons can indulge in numerous Christmas delicacies for lunch and dinner. Prices at IDR 488,000++ per person for lunch and IDR 518,000++ per person for dinner, patrons can enjoy a selection of mouthwatering festive specialties.
For more special dining sessions, the hotel’s culinary team offers several special theme dining events at Sugar & Spice. On 23 and 30 December 2022, enjoy Seafood Dinner Festive Special with countless fresh seafood creations for IDR 588,000++ per person.
On 24th December, there will also be a Christmas Buffet with brunch options (IDR 688,000++ per person) and dinner (IDR 828,000++ per person). On the Christmas Eve Dinner, guests are invited to enjoy a delicious buffet spread and scrumptious pass-around delights. The dinner will feature tantalizing international and Indonesian fare, including sturgeon caviar and foie gras parfait for one of pass around menu, fresh seafood on ice, Japanese selections curated by the hotel’s Japanese Master Chef Hodaka-san, classic oven roasted whole turkey, and various beef carvings such as Beef Wellington, slow braised Mulled wine beef cheeks, and oven roasted prime rib on the bone. To close the dining session, Chef Kim Pangestu has prepared cakes, pastries, and a wide selection of sweets that will allow the perfect ending for your Christmas feast.
On Christmas Day, the Hotel also offers an extensive Christmas Day brunch (IDR 828,000++ per person) and Christmas Day dinner (IDR 518,000++) to celebrate the merry occasion with family and friends.
New Year’s Celebrations
Usher the year 2023 with unique offerings at Sugar & Spice, the Hotel’s lovely all-day dining restaurant. New Year Buffet at Sugar & Spice is available on 31 December 2022 and is offered for lunch at IDR 488,000++ per person and IDR 888,000++ per person for dinner. Should guests want a special dinner with a champagne toast, there is also a special package priced IDR 1,088,000++ inclusive of one glass of champagne.
