Once again, Tom Aikens is back to revisit one of his exquisite culinary destinations, Tom’s by Tom Aikens at The Langham, Jakarta. This time, the remarkable Two-Michelin stars Chef will bring an  experience of gastronomic culinary with a special curated set menu of lunch and dinner, along with some exciting  programs to join in.

A Weekend of Special Activity at Tom’s 

To delight our customers, the guests will have a chance to experience home-style cooking session with Chef Tom  Aikens, followed by a three-course exquisite set lunch on Saturday, 20 May 2023 starting from 10 AM onwards at  Hampton Garden, 6th floor of The Langham, Jakarta. 

  • Starter : Soy marinated tuna tartare Sesame crushed avocado, Wasabi mayonnaise
  • Main : Bulgogi beef skewers Nori fries, Samjang sauce 
  • Dessert : Frozen lemon yogurt mousse Milk chocolate crunch, Lemon confit 

In addition, guests can indulge in a welcome cocktail also an exclusive apron, recipe and certificate during the  activity for IDR 688,000++.

This time, a special curated set of menu by Tom Aikens himself will be served at your table from 19 to 21 May  2023, consisting of a three-course lunch and options of five or seven-course dinner with menu consist of: 

Three-course set lunch, 

  • Appetizer : Beef bone consommé soup Bone marrow dumplings, Smoked oyster, Truffle or  Blackened octopus Tomato jam, Burnt aubergine. 
  • Main Course : Bulgogi beef skewers Nori fries, Samjang sauce or Tiger prawns risotto Courgette puree, Pistachio, Crème fraiche or Mediterranean pizza Pesto, Tomato, Artichokes, Olive, Piquillo or Dynamite chicken burger with Buttermilk chicken, Dynamity sauce, Asian slaw Dessert : Rose Water & Raspberry baba Creme mousseline, Glazed almond flakes or  Buttermilk panna cotta Buttermilk sorbet, Honey comb, Thyme oil 

 

Tom’s five-course set dinner, 

  • Amuse Bouche : Sweet and Sour oyster Lime gel, Burnt cucumbers 
  • Starter : Blackened octopus Tomato jam, Burnt aubergine 
  • Risotto : Tiger prawns risotto Courgette puree, Pistachio, Crème fraiche
  • Main : Charcoaled wagyu Shitake ketchup, Whiskey glaze, Parsnip noodles
  • Dessert : Rose water & Raspberry baba Crème mousseline, Glazed almond flakes

 

Tom’s seven-course set dinner, 

  • Amuse Bouche : Sweet and Sour oyster Lime gel, Burnt cucumbers 
  • Starter : Blackened octopus Tomato jam, Burnt aubergine 
  • Soup : Beef bone consommé soup Bone marrow dumplings, Smoked oyster, Truffle
  • Risotto : Tiger prawns risotto Courgette puree, Pistachio, Crème fraiche
  • Main Entree : Poached cod fish in ash Charred Leeks, Champagne Sauce
  • Second Main Entrée : Charcoaled wagyu Shitake ketchup, Whiskey glaze, Parsnip noodles
  • Dessert : Rose water & Raspberry baba Crème mousseline, Glazed almond flakes 

 

The three-course set lunch is available at IDR 488,000++ per pax, five-course and seven-course set dinner for  each IDR 888,000++ (add IDR 1,080,000++ for wine pairing) and IDR 1,288,000++ (add IDR 1,280,000++ for wine  pairing) per pax. Menu is ready on Friday (lunch and dinner), Saturday (lunch and dinner) and Sunday (dinner only). An exquisite Sunday Brunch will also be available on Sunday, 21 May 2023.

To highlight the commemoration of the British new era, a special treat is presented to you with The Royal  Coronation Special Quiche as a tapas and four coronation-inspired cocktails to savor the King’s Coronation with,  Coronation Cocktail No.1, Regalia, The Coronation Cup, and Darjeeling Martini. There will also be a Gin and Tonic  specials during the week, where guests are allowed to head to Tom’s Bar and ask for our ten Gin and Tonic  selections, prepared by our talented home mixologists.
