Being part of a community makes the Jakarta experience richer and more rewarding. If you're looking for one, here are women’s communities for expats.

Strong communities are built on connection, purpose, and collaboration. Jakarta is home to a diverse range of women-led and women-focused organisations that offer meaningful opportunities to connect, grow, and give back.

If it’s been a few months of relocation, grasping a support system in a new and often unfamiliar environment is vital. Taking part in Jakarta’s eclectic women’s communities helps ease the transition, fosters a sense of belonging, and opens doors to both personal and professional growth. Nonetheless, it never hurts to meet new people if you’ve reached a milestone in the metropolitan city!

These organisations span across cultures, causes, and industries—empowering women through friendship, advocacy, charity, and professional support. So, no, you don’t have to navigate daily life alone. Regardless of the benefits, being part of a community makes the Jakarta experience richer and more rewarding.
