The Philippine Department of Tourism (PDOT) reaffirms its strategic commitment to the Indonesian market by participating in two of Indonesia's most prestigious tourism events: the ASTINDO Travel Fair and TTC Travel Mart 2026. This participation, scheduled to take place from February 5 to 11, 2026, serves as a crucial momentum coinciding with the ASEAN Chairmanship Year to sustain the Philippines' tourism presence among Indonesian travelers.
The Philippine Department of Tourism Attends ASTINDO Travel Fair and TTC Travel Mart 2026
This series of activities represents a proactive step by PDOT to introduce "signature packages" developed through the Joint Promotions Campaigns. Through these initiatives, PDOT aims to further popularize the Philippines as a top-of-mind travel destination for Indonesian tourists.
Engaging Consumers at ASTINDO Travel Fair (February 5–8, 2026)
As Indonesia's largest annual tourism exhibition, the ASTINDO Travel Fair serves as the primary platform for PDOT to engage directly with thousands of potential travelers. Occupying a 36-squaremeter booth, PDOT will host various travel agent partners who will directly retail tour packages to iconic destinations throughout the Philippines.
The exhibition will be further enlivened by various engaging Consumer Activations. This initiative is designed to provide a tangible glimpse of "One-of-a-Kind" travel experiences to the Indonesian public while distributing promotional materials and unique Philippine souvenirs to visitors.
Strengthening Business Ties through TTC Travel Mart (February 9 & 11, 2026)
Following the consumer-centric activities, the PDOT delegation will proceed with a business-tobusiness (B2B) agenda through the TTC Travel Mart. These meetings will be held in two major cities: at the Redtop Hotel and Convention Center, Jakarta on February 9, 2026, followed by the JW Marriott Hotel, Surabaya on February 11, 2026.
The event facilitates direct dialogue through a "no appointment setting" format, allowing Philippine and Indonesian tourism stakeholders to explore marketing collaboration opportunities more straightforwardly and deeply. Several leading private sector partners from the Philippines, including Pan Pacific Travel Corporation, Skyland Travel and Tours, and Travelite Travel and Tours Co., are confirmed to attend to strengthen business networks with local travel agents.

Strategic Vision and Sustainability
Ms. Gwendolyn S. Batoon, Attache II and Head of ASEAN Markets – Office of Market Development, will personally lead the Philippine delegation in this mission. She will be accompanied by Ms. Celstine Joyce T. Sy (Senior Tourism Operations Officer – Office of Market Development), Ms. Anna Isabelle Malay (Administrative Officer IV – Management Division, Financial Management Service), and Ms. Christine Joy B. Desolong (Planning Officer II – Monitoring Division, Planning Service).
The presence of the Philippine Department of Tourism delegation in this exhibition is a continuous effort to provide trade updates on the latest tourism products and services, including Muslim-friendly destinations. Furthermore, PDOT aims to maintain a consistent presence in the Indonesian market by using the ASTINDO Travel Fair as a venue to interact directly with travelers and effectively showcase the Philippines' signature packages.
Through the integration of consumer promotional activities and business meetings, the Philippine Department of Tourism is optimistic about continuing to grow the number of Indonesian visitors. By highlighting cultural uniqueness, the hospitality of its people, and ease of inter-island access, the Philippines is ready to welcome more Indonesian travelers to explore the wonders found across the nation.
