Jakarta Dessert Week Returns and Launches Golden Swirl Award

Jakarta Dessert Week (JDW) is back for its sixth edition, bringing a range of exciting innovations for dessert lovers in the capital. This annual event will take place over three weeks, from September 30 to October 20, 2024, with the theme "Wildlife," inspired by Indonesia's rich natural and cultural heritage.

What makes Jakarta Dessert Week 2024 special is the launch of the Golden Swirl Award - Jakarta Edition, a new recognition dedicated to honoring Jakarta's top dessert players. This award is a tribute to the creativity, innovation, and dedication of professionals in the dessert industry who have brought the best flavors and quality to Jakarta's culinary world. “We want to acknowledge the dessert maker who have added flavor and richness to the capital,” said Primo Rizky, one of the founders of Jakarta Dessert Week.

With this year’s theme "Wildlife," all participating cafes and restaurants will present special dessert creations inspired by Indonesia’s biodiversity.
