KYRO Ushers in a New Era of Contemporary Dining and Lounge Culture in Jakarta

KYRO redefines Jakarta’s dining and nightlife scene with a seamless blend of global cuisine, crafted cocktails, and immersive ambiance. Designed as a day-to-night destination, it transitions effortlessly from refined lunch gatherings to lively evenings filled with rhythm and conversation. Every detail — from the menu and lighting to the music and mood — has been thoughtfully curated to engage the senses and reflect the understated elegance of modern luxury.

A Modern Glasshouse of Warmth and Design

KYRO’s interiors embody a modern glasshouse aesthetic, harmonizing structure with intimacy. Layers of steel, glass, and warm-toned wood evoke transparency and depth, while sculptural curves, soft lighting, and organic forms create a space that feels both fluid and grounded. The centerpiece — a cylindrical wine display — anchors the room as a quiet emblem of craftsmanship and sophistication, encapsulating KYRO’s refined yet welcoming spirit.

The name KYRO draws inspiration from the founder’s firstborn, Cairo — symbolizing new beginnings, warmth, and human connection. Guided by the philosophy “a space for the curious – where connection, design, and flavor intertwine,” KYRO embodies a lifestyle that values creativity, authenticity, and shared experiences.

“With KYRO, we wanted to create more than just a restaurant; it’s a space where people can feel inspired, connected, and alive,” said Alexa Savitri, Founder of KYRO Jakarta. “Every element — from the design to the music and flavors — is crafted to evoke emotion and celebrate the beauty of shared moments.”

A Culinary Dialogue of Cultures

At the heart of KYRO’s experience is its culinary direction led by Chef Rifa Munawar, who presents a modern interpretation of Asian-inspired flavors refined through Western techniques. His creations celebrate balance, precision, and emotion — transforming familiar ingredients into bold, contemporary expressions.

Signature highlights include the 48-hour Short Ribs Kalio, a Padang-inspired slow-cooked masterpiece known for its depth and tenderness; the Fish on the Grill, featuring daily catches sourced directly from fishermen; and the Rahang Tuna Woku, delicately seared and elegantly plated.

Complementing the cuisine, KYRO’s beverage program showcases inventive cocktails and a curated wine list that evolves with the seasons, offering pairings designed to elevate each dining experience.

When Dining Finds Its Rhythm

As dusk falls, KYRO transforms into a vibrant social destination where sound, flavor, and rhythm converge. From Monday to Tuesday, resident DJs set an intimate mood from 10 p.m. to midnight, while from Wednesday to Sunday, live bands take the stage from 9:30 p.m., followed by DJ sets that carry the energy until 2 a.m. Each evening offers a renewed sense of discovery — a fluid interplay of dining, music, and movement.

Special event nights and guest performances further amplify KYRO’s dynamic character, ensuring that no two nights ever feel the same.

Spaces That Invite Connection

Spanning 759 square meters and accommodating up to 158 guests, KYRO features distinct zones — the main dining area, lounge, and glasshouse — along with three private rooms designed for intimacy and exclusivity:

-Emerald Room (16 guests)

-Ruby Room (8 guests)

-Sapphire Room (8 guests)

Each private space is equipped with modern amenities, including a television and private restroom, making them ideal for business gatherings, private dinners, or special celebrations. Bespoke menus and curated experiences can be tailored for each event, ensuring every moment feels personal and memorable.

Looking ahead, KYRO plans to introduce experiential programs — from wine-pairing dinners and guest chef collaborations to music-driven events — further cementing its role as a culinary and nightlife landmark where people come together through the shared languages of taste, sound, and design.
