TWG Tea takes it up a notch by introducing an innovative way of enjoying tea. The luxury brand expands its collection of signature tea-infused gourmet treats this August with the imaginative, interactive, and inviting nature of TWG Tea Buddies.
Shaped similarly to a beloved childhood teddy bear, the mini tea-infused fruit gums allow tea connoisseurs (and even non-tea drinkers) on a personal, palatable whimsical journey.

TWG Tea Teddies are sourced from white tea – one of the most precious and sought-after varieties of tea in the world. This rare tea is the most natural of all varieties and possesses high levels of antioxidants. It undergoes a process that fosters the delicate floral aroma and flavour by simply handpicking tea leaves, which then are immediately sun-dried. Hence, TWG Tea uses this as a base note to infuse with natural berries, citrus fruits, and spices which results in a contemporary interpretation of a nostalgic childhood sweet.
Each of the eight sparkling variants exudes the World of TWG’s playful side. Accents of nature such as Apple and Grape, Blueberry, Orange and Cinnamon, Ginger and Lemon, Grapefruit and Orange, Mango and Orange, Raspberry and Vanilla, and Strawberry offer a tailored assortment, expertly designed for every mood and time of the day, as well as personal fondness. As mentioned above, munching on these candied snacks is more than recommended. The Tea Teddies have a hard exterior due to their sugar coat. One tiny bite and your palate will dance in a field of fruits and/or spices.
How to infuse the TWG Tea Buddies
The Tea Teddies can be savoured in a hot or cold serving. For the hot version, add 200ml of pure, simmering water into a TWG Tea Mug and drop one to two Tea Teddies into the mug. Patience is unnecessary as it merely takes 30 seconds for the Tea Teddies to start dissolving - observe closely to see the process! Start stirring well and witness the water turn vibrant.
The infusing process of an iced version is similar, except for the amount of Tea Tuddies used and an iced tea glass with ice cubes prepared. Firstly, add 200ml of pure, simmering water into a TWG Tea Mug and drop four Tea Teddies into the mug. Wait for 30 seconds and stir well until the Tea Teddies have dissolved. Pour the incorporated tea into the iced tea glass to enjoy on scorching days.
