The 5th Jakarta Dessert Week (JDW) stands as the grandest celebration of the dessert and pastry industry, bringing together over 100 brands, from corporate-scale restaurants to home industries. JDW x Tokopedia continues to operate as it has become a promising digital revenue stream since its introduction during the pandemic. Dessert Markt will also be held as a bazaar for emerging brands.

The Singleton Whisky Celebrates Jakarta Dessert Week Through Menu Collaborations with 8 Restaurants and Dessert Shops

JDW also retains its original form as a restaurant week festival, inviting the public to visit curated restaurants and cake shops and hunt for limited edition menus. Public mobility is encouraged by collecting stamps in the Dessert Hunt booklet. Attractive prizes await the lottery winners.

Supported by The Singleton, a leading whisky brand from Scotland, JDW further solidifies its position in the urban gastronomy landscape. Eight restaurants and dessert shops have incorporated The Singleton 12 Years Old - Glen Ord into their dessert creations, exclusively served for Jakarta Dessert Week 2023. Using this single malt Scotch whisky in desserts brings sweet fruit notes of apples and pears, and a creamy encore for your taste buds. Every bite is a boozy delight!

JDW aims to support the industry's ecosystem in Jakarta by providing creative space for its players. Participant selection is based on an assessment of product quality, narrative, and existence by JDW founders: Gupta Sitorus, Primo Rizky, Tria Nuragustina, Kevindra Soemantri, and Talita Setyadi.
