
ARCHIPELAGO SUCCESSFULLY HOSTS FIRST K-VIBES LIFESTYLE EVENT
“60 SECONDS TO SEOUL” IN SERANG, BANTEN
Korean culinary trends continue to dominate the Indonesian market. According to industry data, interest in K-Food is no longer just a seasonal fad, but has become an integral part of the urban lifestyle. Recognizing this massive enthusiasm, Archipelago—the largest hospitality management group in Southeast Asia—held the K-Vibes Event '60 Seconds to Seoul' at the Aston Serang Hotel & Convention Center on January 31, 2026. This culinary pop-up concept brought the flavors of Seoul's street food to life, complemented by vibrant Korean-themed festivities.
During the launch of '60 Seconds to Seoul,' Archipelago and Aston Serang Hotel & Convention Center offered an exciting and authentic Korean dining experience. The K-Vibes event featured a variety of activities, including a Korean food parade, fun games, Korean song karaoke, K-Pop dance covers, and a Noraebang session. The event was further enlivened by the presence of media partners and influencers from Jakarta.

“We are introducing '60 Seconds to Seoul' as a culinary pop-up concept that brings the authentic flavors of Seoul's street food to our hotels across Indonesia. This initiative is part of the Archipelago Global Flavours Series, which will rotate every six months to showcase a diverse range of signature street food from different countries around the world,” said John Flood, CEO of Archipelago.
The '60 Seconds to Seoul' experience can be enjoyed not only at Aston Serang but also across all Archipelago member hotels throughout Indonesia from January to June 2026. Through this program, Archipelago presents a 'flavor journey' inspired by Korean cuisine across its entire Indonesian network. The event is also supported by the South Korean skincare and makeup brand, NACIFIC, which is renowned for using natural ingredients and being Halal-certified and vegan-friendly; they provided gift sets for interactive quizzes throughout the event.

Starting from Rp 38,000, guests can enjoy a variety of popular and character-filled Korean street food menus, such as Tteokbokki, Korean Cheese Burger, Gangnam Hot Chicken, Soko Fish Taco, and Kimchi Fried Rice, along with other savory selections inspired by the streets of Seoul. This dining experience is complemented by two signature dessert options—Jeju Matcha Puff and Baesuk Pear—as well as four refreshing beverages: Sparkling Yuzu Honey, Shikyee Fizz, Maesil Mojito, and Omija Cooler, to perfectly round off every meal.
The entire '60 Seconds to Seoul' menu is available for poolside dining and room service, as well as for delivery via GoFood and GrabFood, making it easily accessible for both hotel guests and the general public. Through this program, Archipelago continues to deliver creative and memorable F&B experiences while bringing the spirit of Seoul's street food closer to Indonesia, without the need to travel abroad.
