As 2023 draws to a close, the 5-star hotel proudly unveils a remarkable celebration of flavors and innovation at 1928 Restaurant by inviting Kieran Morland, the chef and owner of the celebrated Luma, Bali, to take over the restaurant and present his signature dishes on November 11, 2023.

Luma, the culinary gem of Bali, has embarked on a remarkable journey since its establishment in June 2022. These visionary chefs share a common mission: to return the essence of fine dining to its roots, emphasizing minimal intervention in ingredients and culinary excellence.

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Chef Kieran himself boasts over two decades of experience in professional kitchens. Before Luma, he opened Merah Putih, a modern Indonesian dining experience on the island, nestled in the heart of Seminyak. There, he seamlessly fused Indonesian classics with innovative creations, providing guests with an exceptional dining adventure. In 2016, he opened Sangsaka in Kerobokan, an intimate 60-seat modern Indonesian restaurant celebrated for its use of woods and charcoal to craft unique dishes inspired by the rich and diverse flavors of Bali and surrounding archipelago.
