Inspired by the legendary movie 'Cocktail’ starred by Tom Cruise, Kiki’s journey began as a bar back at Jakarta's Batavia Café. He honed his craft through renowned establishments like Manna House and Casa Kemang before becoming a wine butler at Cork&Screw. His heart, however, beats for cocktails. As the Head Mixologist of The Union Group, a leading F&B entity in Jakarta, Kiki has propelled Loewy and Union Brasserie, Bakery & Bar into the prestigious ranks of Asia's 50 Best Bars, ranking as high as #33 in 2021. His latest venture, The Cocktail Club, is the group's pioneering bartender-run cocktail bar, which was awarded Best Cocktail Menu, named Indonesia’s Best Bar and ranked #19 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023.
Combining his interests in rock music and custom motorcycles, Kiki brings an innovative palate to his cocktails that never cease to impress. Known as one of Indonesia cocktail’s personalities, Kiki Moka will be showcasing creative concoctions, such as Herbaceous, Mango Lassi, Old Man Sangree and Sake Tini during the takeover at The Writers Bar.
