AmCham will have an organizing meeting for a new AmCham Energy Transition Committee on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10 AM - 11.30 AM. This meeting will scope out the committee's purpose, structure and aspirations.
In light of the goverment's commitment to promoting more sustainable energy, AmCham wants to highlight the role of the private sector in energy transition. The committee should become the focal point for our advocacy efforts and serve as a platform for in-depth discussion on topics such as the transition to renewables, role of fossil fuels, energy affordability, conversion from coal to cleaner fuel and energy security. We are inviting energy companies and others with a strong interest in this sector to join us and become active in the new committee.
