‘Gelombang Ekspresi’ Art Exhibition by Siji Art Management at The Westin Jakarta

The Westin Jakarta together with Siji Art Management proudly presents an exhibition of paintings by Iwan Suhaya, titled ‘Gelombang Ekspresi’ or Waves of Expression. The exhibition is available at Champagne Lounge, located on the 52nd floor Sky Lobby of The Westin Jakarta from 1 May to 30 June 2024, with the inauguration by the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. ST Burhanuddin, S.H., M.M., on 3 May 2024.

‘Gelombang Ekspresi’ or Waves of Expression serves as the theme of the exhibition, which can be interpreted as a reflection of self-expression, a symbol of the diversity of expression and the complexity of Iwan Suhaya's life experiences as a realistic painter for over 30 years. Each painting represents a unique wave of expression from his perspective as an artist who has participated in various exhibition activities, both locally and internationally. Specializing in art pieces with nuances of flora and fauna, Iwan Suhaya’s deliberate differentiation is shown in his uniquely designed frame that become a complete unity as characteristic of his work. 

The collaboration between Siji Art Management and The Westin Jakarta not only provides a visual exhibition but also allows both parties to express the concern for the environment. In commemoration of Earth Day, Iwan Suhaya specially creates his painting of Jalak Bali or Bali Starling titled “Harmony”. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to plant mangrove trees at PIK Mangrove Forest through LindungiHutan at the end of art exhibition.
