This Valentine’s Day, The Penthouse by The Papilion invites guests to spend the evening at The Dining Room with Chef Takahashi Hideaki through a Japanese multi-course dinner created specifically for February 14 th . The dinner focuses on what matters most: seasonality, precision, and ingredients handled with care by the seasoned chef.
Chef Takahashi, who leads the Japanese dining program at The Penthouse, is known for his disciplined approach to Kaiseki and Omakase, where technique and restraint allow the ingredients to speak clearly. This Valentine’s menu follows the same philosophy; composed, deliberate, and focused entirely on the dining experience
The menu highlights kegani (horsehair crab) with pomelo and tosazu jelly, chawanmushi with foie gras, caviar blinis, an assortment of sushi and sashimi, including kinmedai, kanpachi, amaebi, uni temaki, and caviar gunkan, followed by A5 Miyazaki striploin served as a choice of shabu-shabu or sukiyaki. The meal concludes with Chef Takahashi’s signature dessert: Strawberry Light Snow.
Guests are free to enjoy dinner anywhere across The Penthouse’s rooms, whether at The Dining Room, in The Library, or in The Pantry, suggesting that the evening is about coming home to the nearest and dearest.
