This Summer Season, St. Regis invites guests to its House of Celebration – A Celebration of Place, an expedition of culinary tastes and traditions, in collaboration with chefs from various extraordinary St. Regis destinations, including Jakarta. The House of Celebration, a range of celebratory offerings where timeless rituals become new traditions, is a curation of exceptional moments throughout the year with limited edition cultural, fashion and dining experiences that highlight St. Regis’ beloved rituals and create new immersive journeys across the Best Addresses.

At The St. Regis Jakarta, guests will be taken on an exquisite culinary journey that showcases the finest locally sourced ingredients as well as marvellous reimaginations of distinctly different cultural cuisines, including flights of various iconic St. Regis Bloody Marys and remarkable cocktails with distinctly local flavours.

Drawing inspiration from the world of haute couture, House of Celebration – Summer Season is a showcase of local flavours that takes the dining experience to a new level. The St. Regis Jakarta will be transformed into a culinary playground, offering exclusive and memorable experiences that will tantalize taste buds and ignite senses. Revamping into a House of Celebration, The St. Regis Jakarta presents a series of ecstatic experiences for guests to immerse themselves in. From July 5th to August 31st, 2023, guests are welcome to indulge in The Batavia Mary, a signature cocktail exclusively served at The St. Regis Bar, inspired by the multicultural culinary heritage found throughout Indonesia. A combination of locally made Balinese arak, cuka and sambal oelek, The Batavia Mary is served in a highball glass over one spear ice cube and garnished with a lemongrass stalk and rempeyek kacang cracker with a small bowl of pickled acar as a palette cleanser. The Batavia Mary is a representation of the unique and bold flavours of Jakarta.

Raising The Bar at The St. Regis Bar is a series of exceptional mixology events that will take the cocktail experience to new heights. St. Regis Bar will feature Max Venning from Three Sheets London on 4th August and Paulo Naranjo from Republic Bar Singapore on 25th August.

An exquisite gastronomic journey awaits in the upscale urban dining destination, J.J.A., as Chef Oscar Perez presents a meticulously crafted weekly set menu to tantalize the most discerning palate during the summer season. Celebrating Independence Day, Chef Oscar will present a special set menu, thoughtfully paired with exquisite wines available only on August 17th, 2023. Savour the rich flavours of Indonesia with the Nusantara Afternoon Tea curated by Chef Kevin Lee, served at The Drawing Room from 14th – 19th August 2023. Indulge in an immersive culinary experience, exploring the Nusantara Buffet at Bel Étage from 14th – 19th August 2023 where the extensive spread of authentic Indonesian delicacies showcases the diverse flavours of the archipelago.

Elevating the Summer season of House of Celebration to extraordinary miles, the masterful culinary expert, Chef Agung Gede from The St. Regis Bali Resort, will collaborate with The St. Regis Jakarta to deliver an artistic culinary innovation. As the executive chef of Kayuputi at The St. Regis Bali, Chef Agung Gede has won the Indonesian Bocuse d'Or selection during the 9th Salon Culinaire in Jakarta in April 2013. He also represented Indonesia in the 'World Chef Battlefield 2019' competition where his team won the 'Champion of the Masters' title. In 2019, he was rewarded as Chef of The Year in Bali’s Best Eats.

The St. Regis Bar

From 24th – 25th August 2023, a culinary fusion awaits as Chef Agung Gede will showcase the Balinese-inspired menu at Maisonette in The St. Regis Jakarta. Chef Agung Gede will present Amuse, the “Lombok'' oyster custard with smoked shrimp’s tartare Panipuri; “Sumberkima” Coral Trout with carpaccio, pomelo, pickled jicama, sea grapes, “Tapsai” honey and citrus emulsion; “Sawangan” Octopus completed with heritage black rice porridge, aromatic vegetable crumble, kemangi, lemongrass with coconut milk espuma; Wagyu Beef Rump Cap with Archipelago spices slow roasted rump cap, “Plaga” farm seasonal vegetable, “Pangi” spice beef jus; and “Mayungan” Pineapple with sous vide pineapple, coconut milk mousse, fermented pineapple sorbet.
