The St. Regis Jakarta Presents Taste of Türkiye in Celebration of Türkiye's Republic Day
An immersive culinary journey celebrating the rich flavours, regional specialties, and hospitality of Türkiye through a collaboration with The St. Regis Istanbul.
In celebration of Türkiye's Republic Day on 29 October, The St. Regis Jakarta, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Jakarta and Turkish Airlines, presents Taste of Türkiye at Bel Étage from 30 October to 1 November 2026. Showcasing the rich culinary traditions of Türkiye, the three-day dining experience features a special Friday Seafood Night on 30 October and Weekend Brunch on 31 October and 1 November, inviting guests to discover authentic Turkish cuisine and hospitality.
As part of this special occasion, The St. Regis Jakarta collaborates with The St. Regis Istanbul, welcoming two distinguished culinary talents from Istanbul: Kerem Günay, Demi Chef de Partie of Spago Istanbul by Wolfgang Puck, and Şahan Bayram, Senior Chef de Partie of The St. Regis Istanbul. Together, they will showcase the depth and diversity of Turkish gastronomy, bringing authentic recipes, distinctive flavours and regional influences, and contemporary interpretations inspired by the vibrant culinary traditions of Türkiye.
Curated by the chefs, the menu highlights an array of Turkish specialties, from mezze including Hummus, Shakshuka, and Muhammara to traditional salads such as Piyaz, Kısır, and stuffed peppers. Signature dishes such as Tas Kebab, Adana Kebab, Urfa Kebab, Turkish Pide, chicken roll, and grilled fish sandwich will highlight the rich diversity of Türkiye's culinary heritage and regional flavours. For Friday Seafood Night, specially prepared Turkish accompaniments, including the classic Tarator sauce, add an authentic touch to Bel Étage's seafood selection, while an assortment of Baklava offers a taste of one of Türkiye's most beloved and enduring desserts.
