
A Journey of Indonesian Flavors Awaits at Batalin di Senayan This Ramadan
Welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, beginning on 19 February 2026, ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan presents “Batalin di Senayan,” a communal iftar program featuring the richness of Indonesian cuisine through a special menu collaboration between Chef Ragil Imam Wibowo, Asian Cuisine Chef of the Year 2018, and Chef Raynaldo, Executive Chef of ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan.
Through this specially curated iftar menu, the collaboration invites guests to explore Indonesia’s rich gastronomic heritage, beginning in Aceh, the gateway of spices with layered and aromatic flavors; continuing to Tapanuli with the distinctive zing of andaliman; and moving on to East Nusa Tenggara, known for its bold, original flavors, vibrant heat, and a smoky aroma infused from traditional cooking techniques.
The journey continues to Southeast Sulawesi, where seafood and land-based ingredients come together in simple yet characterful preparations, before concluding in Maluku, the famed Spice Islands, celebrating freshness, exotic aromas, and bold pairings of seafood and fruits. The overall menu is designed as an immersive culinary journey, authentic, expressive, and rich in storytelling, transforming iftar into a truly memorable Nusantara dining experience.

This collaboration highlights a variety of regional Indonesian dishes that are still relatively unfamiliar to the wider public, including regions that may feel foreign to some.
