Dining Room, level 22 at Park Hyatt Jakarta introduces A Nusantara Story, a Friday evening dining experience that invites guests to discover the diversity, balance, and craft of Indonesian cuisine.
Drawing inspiration from culinary traditions across the archipelago, from Sabang through Merauke, the buffet presents a carefully curated selection of regional specialties, aromatic spices, and a vibrant range of house-made sambals. Indonesian menu highlights include nasi kapau from Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, 72- hour short rib konro from Makassar, a selection of satay, refreshing asinan, and many other regional expressions thoughtfully prepared to reflect authenticity and origin. Each dish is composed with intention, creating a seamless journey through Indonesia’s rich and varied culinary landscape.
Thoughtfully paced and elegantly presented, A Nusantara Story offers moments of pleasure and connection, celebrating flavor, heritage, and the art of the table in refined surroundings above the city.
Chef de Cuisine Dennis Hermawan shares, “A Nusantara Story is deeply personal for our team. Indonesia’s cuisine is shaped by its regions, its ingredients, and its people. This experience allows us to honor those traditions with care and nuance. Each dish tells a story that feels familiar yet thoughtfully crafted, inviting guests to rediscover the richness of our culinary heritage.” The experience is available every Friday, from 6.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., at IDR 598,000++ per person.
