With Negroni Week around the corner, the cocktail glasses are ready and waiting at Nautilus! The destination bar at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is set to lend a fresh twist to the legendary Italian cocktail with creative interpretations from Indonesia and beyond. As part of the POURED by Four Seasons campaign across Southeast Asia, Nautilus will celebrate Negroni Week from September 18 to 24, giving cocktail enthusiasts a week to sip their way through the signature selection.
Bar Manager Julian B. Brigget takes guests on a spirited adventure with an oh-so-Indonesian take on the world’s favourite classic cocktail. Showcasing the diversity of pandan (often called the vanilla of southeast Asia), he pairs this local staple with an unexpected partner — Indonesian cacao! — to deliver the beguiling Cacao Pandan Negroni.
Also on the menu is the newly crafted Mace Negroni. The leading player of this captivating concoction is mace, one of the most prized products of the Spice Trade era in Indonesia.
Julian’s signature creations are complemented by two additional Negronis from award-winning Four Seasons bars — the TuttiFrutti from Argo at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, and the Daisy Negroni from Copitas at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE.
Nights at Nautilus
Inspired by the spice trade of 16 th century Indonesia, Nautilus is an intimate drinking destination that captures the nostalgia of seafaring traditions. The cocktail menu shines with homegrown flavours from around the archipelago, masterfully blending local spices with premium spirits and modern mixology techniques.
With its nautical-themed décor and artworks reflecting the historical port of Sunda Kelapa, Nautilus provides a matchless setting for joyful, story-filled nights in the heart of Jakarta.
Negroni Week
As part of the 11th anniversary celebration of Negroni Week, a global initiative created by IMBIBE Magazine and Campari, Nautilus will donate a portion from the sale of Negroni cocktails to a dedicated charitable fund by Slow Food, a global movement of local communities and activists in over 160 countries.
The Negroni Week Fund will go directly towards Slow Food’s international projects, while also supporting the hospitality community, the preservation of cultural and biological diversity, and the promotion of food and beverage education and knowledge exchange.
