The Italian restaurant at Shangri-La Jakarta, Rosso, extends an invitation to guests to rediscover the art of authentic Italian cuisine. Crafted by the skilled hands of Chef Giuseppe Di Silvestro, Rosso now provides a delightful dining experience for guests every day at lunchtime, starting from 13 February 2023.
In pursuit of our culinary mission, guests will be treated to a sumptuous and tailored lunch set menu, where they can enjoy a variety of starters, including the Insalata Caesar, which is a Caesar Salad with roasted Chicken or smoked Salmon, Anchovies and sliced Parmesan.
Guests who prefer soup as their starter can choose Zuppa di Funghi, an Italian Mushroom Porcini Soup with Truffle Foam; the Fritto Misto, a medley of deep-fried battered Prawns and Calamari, served with Grilled Lemon and Rosso Special Dips and the traditional Italian Fishcake di Patate e Salmone, a Salmon Potato Croquette with Fennel Cream, savouring a range of delectable starter options.
For the main course, guests may choose from six (6) tantalizing options, including the Classic Rigatoni Carbonara with Italian pork cured meat, available in a halaal version; the Aglio e Olio, Spaghetti Garlic and Olive Oil with Seafood; hearty Bolognese, Tagliatelle Pasta with Beef Fillet Bolognese Sauce; Petto di Pollo Alla Milanese, Deep-fried Breaded Chicken Breast Milanese-style with roasted Potatoes; Salmone Alla Griglia, grilled Salmon Fillet with mashed Potatoes and Caper Sauce; and Tagliata di Manzothe, a grilled sliced Striploin with Rocket Lettuce, sliced Parmesan and Balsamic Sauce.
To conclude the dining experience, guests may choose from a range of delightful dessert options, including the Rosso Tiramisu, Traditional Mascarpone Mousse and Chocolate Chiffon with Coffee Flavour; Panna Cotta di Frutti di Bosco, a creamy Italian Cooked Cream Pudding with mixed Berry Sauce; refreshing Lemon Sorbet with Tuscan Almond Biscuit; indulgent Cannoli Siciliani, a Sicilian-style fried pastry filled with creamy Ricotta Cheese, or a sliced fruits platter. Guests may select one (1) menu from each category, including a starter, main course and dessert, available for introductory price at IDR 250,000++ per person.
Rosso is open every day for the lunch set menu from 11:30 am to 3 pm and the a la carte dinner from 6 to 10:30 pm. Rosso’s brunch Antipasti buffet is available every Sunday from 11:30 am to 3 pm for IDR 450,000++ per person. Guests can also add an extra package with alcoholic beverages, starting from IDR 300,000++ per person.
