Inspired by the tradition of Indonesian family culture, where lunch is enjoyed together and brought in a "Rantang" when visiting another family's house, 1928 Makan Tengah offers a delightful lunch experience. Patrons can commence their luncheon with all-time favorite soup options, including Soto Tangkar or Soto Ayam Bakar.
The Makan Tengah tiffin lunch experience provides a choice of 1928's all-time favorite appetizers, including Dabu Dabu Tuna Salad, Gado-Gado, and Urap Segoro. For the main course, patrons can select two dishes from a variety of Indonesian classics, such as Sate Ayam, the renowned Empal Bakar Taman Meriam, Ayam Kareseup Nini, Bebek Nabun, the delicious Pindang Bandeng, and the exquisite Chili Prawn. Vegetable choices include Broccoli with Salted Fish and Stir Fried Green Beans, with an option to pair the meal with Hermitage Tutug Rice or the famous Wagyu Fried Rice.
The dining experience concludes with a refreshing serving of the beloved Es Teler, inspired by the renowned dessert drink from Jalan Cilacap.
