Raffles Jakarta welcomes the Mid-Autumn Festival with the launch of its 2026 Mooncake Collection, a thoughtfully curated celebration inspired by one of the season's most enduring themes: reunion.

This year's collection draws inspiration from an ancient tradition in which a hairpin is divided between two lovers separated by distance, with each keeping one half as a promise of their eventual reunion. Under the light of the Mid-Autumn moon, they are reunited, reflecting the spirit of a festival that has long been associated with togetherness, homecoming, and the bonds that endure across time and distance.

Echoing this meaningful narrative, the packaging design reimagines the hairpin as a symbol of love, longing, and promises fulfilled. Accompanied by the presence of a celestial goddess and the full moon, the design celebrates the return of loved ones and the completeness that comes from gathering once again around a shared table. Much like the full moon itself, the collection serves as a reminder of unity, harmony, and the cherished connections that bring people together.

Presented in two elegant gift boxes, the collection is designed for both personal celebrations and thoughtful gifting. The Raffles Moonlight Box, featuring six mooncakes, is available at IDR 1,288,000nett per box, while the Raffles Autumn Box, featuring four mooncakes, is available at IDR 988,000nett per box.

Guests may select from a classic collection of flavoursincluding Black Sesame, Traditional Mung Bean, White Lotus and Double Egg Yolk, Dates with Pecan Nuts and Mandarin Lotus, and Red Bean Paste with Sunflower and Pumpkin Seeds. For those seeking a contemporary interpretation of the tradition, the Snowskin Collection offers Irish Coffee, Mango Pomelo, Pistachio Chocolate, and White Chocolate Champagne, presented in an elegant four-piece box priced at IDR 858,000 nett.

Adding to this year's celebration, Raffles Jakarta collaborates with EPA Jewel to honour the collection's central symbol of the hairpin. As a special offering, the first 30 purchases of Raffles Moonlight Box will receive an exclusive hairpin created by EPA Jewel, inspired by the story of reunion that lies at the heart of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Thoughtfully crafted as a keepsake, the piece reflects the enduring themes of love, connection, and promises fulfilled.
