Repeating the success of ‘Westin Street Idol’ in 2022, The Westin Jakarta hosts another platform for talented street musicians who are in need of opportunities to grow through ‘Westin Street Idol 2’. Held on 27 November 2023 at The Westin Jakarta’s Denpasar Room, pre-screened street musicians are invited to the audition with a chance to win millions of Rupiahs. One of the judges include Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2022, Adinda Cresheilla, who assesses the performance of each contestant.
The Westin Jakarta Supports Street Musicians through 'Westin Street Idol 2'
Collaborating with few partners including Octava Music School, Aqua and Mustika Ratu, The Westin Jakarta provides cash support for three winners and three favorite musicians. Street musicians who have the talent to perform in different genres, aged between 17 to 35 years old and reside in Greater Jakarta are encouraged to participate.
Aligned with one of Marriott International’s Serve360 pillars, ‘Nurture’ and ‘Serve Our World’, The Westin Jakarta is committed to make the surrounding communities a better place to live. Through this program, The Westin Jakarta wishes to support potential young talents by providing a platform for them to shine and grow.
