The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta held an iftar event with orphans and children in need as a part of "Harmony of Ramadan: Bring Hope & Spread Happiness of the Glorious Ramadan." This event is the result of an initiative and collaboration between The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta and PT. Bantu Group Indonesia, with full support from Said Management, Sony Entertainment, & Liberty Sound System. The Iftar was attended by representatives from the owning company, Singgasana Hotels & Resorts the management company of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, media, hotel employees, and 150 orphaned children from three foundations, namely the Al-Kahfi Foundation, Mizan Amanah, & Rahmatussolihiin.
Harmony of Ramadan Charity at The Sultan Hotel and Residence Jakarta
This year marks the third collaboration between The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta and PT. Bantu Group Indonesia. PT. Bantu Group Indonesia, a creative company and event organizer officially registered in Indonesia, manages several business brands operating in various fields, including Bantu Manten, Bantu Musik, Bantu Dekor, Temu Nikah, Ruang Temu, and Abimantrana. Bantu Manten, as one of PT. Bantu Group Indonesia's main brand, has been serving the wedding market for over twelve years, providing quality and experienced services. Meanwhile, to meet the needs of the corporate and government market, PT. Bantu Group Indonesia has established Abimantrana as a trusted creative entity and event producer.
The children from the orphanages were warmly welcomed by Management & Employees of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta at the Kudus Lobby to embark on an unforgettable adventure exploring the beauty of the hotel They were invited to pose at the Lagoon Lobby, experience joy at the Kids Playground, enjoy the beauty of the resort-style swimming pool, and finally, play enthusiastically in the Sriwedari Garden by feeding the rabbits. Each of these moments provided an unforgettable experience, adding to the joy of welcoming the blessed holy month of Ramadan.
The children were also taken on an exciting storytelling adventure in the puppet storytelling session. This storytelling session was skillfully presented by Pita, a master storyteller from Dongeng Verse, a part of the Langkah Insan Manfaat mission or program, which aims to support and empower 321 Quran-memorizing students. This program is not just about storytelling but also about stimulating imagination, providing hope, and nurturing spirits in the hearts of the beneficiaries.
The Ramadan event commenced with a warm welcome by I Nyoman Sarya, Vice President Operations of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, followed by the inspirational words of Muhammad Yazid Khadafy, Founder of PT. Bantu Group Indonesia. The atmosphere was then filled with tranquility through a heartfelt Qur’an recitation, followed by an inspiring Ramadan Kultum event.
In the spirit of generosity and kindness, donations for orphans and children in need were not limited to cash from The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta. They were also treated to special gifts and snack packages prepared by PT. Bantu Group Indonesia. A total of 150 orphaned and children in need gratefully received these contributions after performing the Maghrib prayer and enjoying dinner together. The distribution of donations was conducted by representatives from the owners and management of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, as well as PT. Bantu Group Indonesia, provides unforgettable joy to the invitees. This is the tangible manifestation of the Sultan Peduli program, which reflects the commitment and dedication of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta in spreading happiness to orphaned children during the holy month of Ramadan.
