Woman in Contemporary Art exibition showcases prominent contemporary artist. Their work is not just aesthetic explorations but also developments from artist's personal experiences. Often influenced by social and cultural factors these woman question visual representation. Participating artists are Ines Katamso, Luh Gede Gita, Nidya Kusmaya, Nursyifa Salsabila, and Qanisha Agara. The practice of an artist's work finds its momentum of plurality, wheter style, technique, choice of material, or aesthetic concepts. In this exibition, we try to read and see the actualization of traditions from the works of contemporary Indonesian young female artists.
