Taste of the Tales: Chef Andrea Spagoni at J.J.A. Restaurant

The St. Regis Jakarta continues its celebrated culinary series, Taste of the Tales, with a remarkable takeover by Chef Andrea Spagoni, the internationally acclaimed Italian chef whose mastery has earned him two Michelin Stars. For four exclusive nights, from October 16th to 19th2025, The St. Regis Jakarta’s specialty restaurant J.J.A. transforms into his stage for an unforgettable Italian dining journey.

Born in Turin, Italy, Chef Andrea’s culinary roots trace back to the Piedmontese kitchen of his grandmother, where his passion for authentic flavors first began. His journey has since taken him across the world, from London and Hong Kong to New York and Manila, each experience adding depth to his refined yet soulful approach to Italian cuisine. He earned his first Michelin Star at Ristorante Pier Bussetti in 2010, followed by another at Beefbar Hong Kong in 2019. Today, as Executive Chef of Finestra at Solaire Resort in the Philippines, he continues to celebrate Italian culinary heritage with contemporary flair, thoughtfully blending local ingredients with timeless techniques.

From October 16th to 19th 2025, guests are invited to experience Taste of the Tales: Andrea Spagoni within the warm sophistication of J.J.A. Restaurant, where each evening unfolds as a story of craftsmanship and flavor. Chef Andrea will present a five-course menu inspired by Italian classics, reimagined through a global lens, with every dish revealing his signature balance of authenticity, elegance, and innovation. To complement the experience, a curated wine pairing is available, harmoniously crafted to accompany each course.
